Frame rate issues.Follow

Hello, awhile back I "upgraded" my computer's graphics card. However, there was a sharp decline in my frame rate while playing DAoC. Discouraged, I gave up and started WoW (what a bloody mistake that was), and after I found out that the community was full of raging morons, I quit. I'm very interested in coming back, and was wondering if this graphics card:

Would cut it while playing DAoC. I am upgrading from:

Thanks a lot!

You are going to get a few replies similar to mine saying what works for them...I am going to do the same....

This is what works for me.

or

But there are lots of others that are not as expensive.

there are a lot of things that can affect your framerate. its not just the memory on your graphics card, but also its speed, and how much ram you have and its speed as well. generally, 1 gig of ram and a 128 or 256 card is plenty to run this game without framerate issues.
