Race/Class questionFollow

Well it depends which realm your looking at for the race. i know nada bout mids and hibs cept i love to nuke em. For albs i notice alot highlander tanks a few half ogres and quite a few britons. The thing is.... After you get in the game you gotta choose your spec of which route in melee you choose to pursue. if you go slash then you want and even amount of strength and dex. if you go thrust you want all dex if your crush you want all strength and their you have it for albs. Good sites.... hmmm well i got some for gear such as visionofsages.net that will tell you how to do different artifact encounters for maps of where the mobs and such are i use shadowsedge.org for a character builder i use http://daoc.catacombs.com/cbuilder.cfm and of course you cant go wrong with

it mostly depends on what realm you like but from my somewhat limited experience with tanks here is my opinion
albion- half ogre armsman true power hitting plate armor wearing war machine.

hibernia- firbolg hero big ugle hard hitters that can morph into stag form and hit even harder.

Midgard- Troll berzerker again another big ugly hitter that morphs into a bear form I think I have never played one just killed them with my fire wizzy and tic :)

another good tanking class is the albion paladin he has some majic but they are chants that aide him in battle. he also gets to wear plate and as a highlander hits hard with a glowing long sword for me :)
