Well~ I've been looking into other MMOs for a while, and I was wondering if someone here could answer a handful of questions I had:
-Since DAoC has been out for a while, am I SOL if I want to join now, since I'll be starting from 0 and have no one to help me? I.e; am I as screwed as if I wanted to, say, go play EQ1 from scratch?
-What exactly is the point of a Co-op server? This made it sound like it is rather pointless...
-I, uh, am kinda overwhelmed looking at all the character choices, so I'll just ask: I'm trying to find a support character that is tough to take down. Kinda like a combination of a bard and a tank.

First with the Catacombs expansion you can catch up in levels fairly quickly. Second, co-op servers are for pansies who cant handle RvR. Third, it depends on the realm. If you go albion I'd go with Heretic. Nice round class. Damage spells, can tank like no tommorrow, get shields, can cast like a fire wizi, can heal and buff, yep, go with heretic.
Would just like to put forth the idea that the co-op server is for people who don't like RvR. I'm sure that plenty of them can handle it and aren't pansies.
