Questions about the Come Back offerFollow

Hay guys. I used to be an avid DAoC player until probably 5-6 months ago (personal issues caused me to put gaming aside). Having just recieved the comeback offer, I was looking at all the new things that have happened since I left. Graphics, upgrades, Catacombs. When I left, the main issue a lot of people were having was with server speed. Is this still an issue? Also, now that all the new graphics are there, are they only available for Catacombs or can you get those with an update? Any information would be helpful.
