I've been trying to find out what the two stats (Dps and Spd) on weapons actually mean and how to they effect the performance of the weapons. Is bigger always better and does that apply to both numbers?
DPS: Damage per second. You want this to be as high as possible (I think 16.9 is as high as this goes, I'm not susually a tank though)
Speed- how long (in seconds, before quickness modification) it takes you to swing the weapon. Higher speed means you do more damage per swing, but less often. You iwll want to trade off here between doing massive damage very slowly or doing little damage very quickly.

Thanks for the info. Right now I'm only a tank and it's really nice to know how to evaluate the various weapons.
