OK, I am just a beginner so forgive me for sounding ridiculous! But I am trying to complete a quest for Godeleva and I need to get water in this bowl she gave me. I go down to the river, but anytime I try to click the bowl on the water, it asks if I want to discard the bowl. I've tried the /use command also, and it doesn't seem to do anything. Please help!
You have to use the bucket, I know you tried already but it probably got a little messed up. Go down to the water, put the bucket on an empty slot on your hotbar. Right-click it and type /use.

You are trying to drop the bowl into the water. As Azrallis has advised you need to USE it. Make sure you are swimming in the moat before using the bowl.

THANK YOU SO MUCH! I didn't have it in my hot bar, I was trying to use it straight out of inventory! That's very useful to know! I'm sure I'll be using this forum alot as I'm learning!

Actually, I've done the quest a few times. when she gives you the bowl, right click it, then give it back. don't need to be near the water, atleast from my experience. May have been fixed.
