Question regaing the game :: World of Warcraft

Hello There,

I used to play Daoc a lot, but I just graduated and have to start a new job very soon. Since I won't have the time for playing, I am going to sell my game in EBay.

The question is, can the new owner of the game create a new account with this game key and play the game?

Yes they can but you have to uninstall it from your computer and everything first, 2 of the same gamkeys cannot be played at the same time im afraid.

The CD key can only be used to set up ONE account. If you sell the account, you have to give the buyer your account name and password. He then can access your account/characters.

If you are not interested in selling your characters, then you can only sell the CDs as replacement CDs, not valid for setting up a new account. In that case, you would not give up the CD key, but only the CDs.

I am not gonna to play anymore. So its fine with me if they play with my characters, or just delete them and meke new ones.

Since I have to give them my account name and password, it doesn't mean they can misuse my privacy data in anyway right? e.g. Credit card information or stuff are not stored in the account's profile? I haven't checked it for a while and can't remember anymore what goes in there.

Where can I go and check my profile and stuff?
