Best 2 ClassesFollow

Wondering what are the best 2 Classes 2 play at the same time yes 2 accts, 2 computers side by side)only interested in Hibernia and would mainly just be looking to solo (duo) in the PvE environment.

I would prefer not to play a true caster or healer so something like a 2 hybrids or a pure meleee and hybrid.

How would a warden and a ranger fair as a team ?

I would start with a bard and go from there...a bard will give you speed, power, endurance and buffs. Spec the bard for regrowth and you will have a potent well-rounded support class. You'll love bard speed and won't want to go anywhere without it after you get a taste of it.

Bards can match up well with almost any casting or melee class. For PvE any of the tank classes would work well with the bard. The trick is to spec your toon intelligently from the start and to buy player-made, spellcrafted and procced gear aimed at optimizing your tank once he or she hits her 40s.

Tank + bard, if you are optimally specced and equipped, should give you the ability to dispatch OJs, reds and grapes at your higher levels.

Awesome thanks for the info, was thinking tank and warden, but the warden would have been an "aside" character not realy loved or developed however a bard and tank sounds like a blast and takes me back to 2 classes I played ages ago with pen and paper .......

If you're thinking a tank with a bard, the end song will really help you while fighting. On the other hand, a Warden will also buff you and bladeturn helps with as much damage as you take, which means less heals.

I would go with a bard and melee type class tho, I think you would get the most out of that duo.

Bards also can mezz (although for a stronger mezz you need to invest some points in music, taking them out of regrowth and nuture). This helps a lot when you are taking on mobs that bring a friend. They can cure poison and disease as well. These skills become quite valuable as you take on more complex mobs. Bards are very handy toons and are almost indispensable if you want to complement a solo melee class.

Brick has played with a warden as well. Her heroine and the warden fit very well together and greatly enhanced each other's game play. The major drawback was lack of endurance, which led to some down time. Depending on individual speccing and approach, wardens can take some time to develop as toons, and they start to shine when they are "older." They are a good all around class for someone who wants to play one solo character. Bards, on the other hand, forego offensive skills but are blessed with the ability to make a major contribution to their allies almost from the start of their existence. They can play "over their heads," supporting characters several levels above them.

Thanks for all the info, coming from 3 years eq I like the open-endness and general "their is no absolute most uber way to do things stupid" that is common in all the threads in that game.

With all this in mind,

I created two fighters on account one, both to be hero's one a shield/blade hero concentrating on tanking with little respect to damage-dealing, the true damage absorber. The other will be a LW hero concentrating solely on damage dealing in the PvE arean relying on the bot to keep him healed.

On account 2 I have decided to develop a warden, I thought I would not like him but so far I have found that I really like the character. I will concentrate on nurture/regrowth with some melee (less than those developed for true solo work) and when and If i get a lil bored with the game go back and create a bard to compare how they duo together.

So far lotsa fun, look for Eukesha Galloglaiche and Dunedain on the Lancelot Hib server, cuz that be me :)

Thanks again

I,m relly sure that the 2 best toon to play togetter are Mana menty and Chanter mana-enchantment...

The base and spec buffs from a druid and the heals would help the enchantments pet a ton... more than a mana menty would I think.

i would say a vamp as your main char.. then just have the usual healer as your bot.. your vamp buffed would be unstoppable and you could solo ojs easy no downtime.. even reds..

vamps can't have buffs(they are to overpowered anyway)

From what I heard the warden class will be getting an upgrade in a couple weeks also. So it will be even stronger then it is now.

I wonder how a warden & warden would do?????
