Problem with old account and DAOC gold edition-Urgent!Follow

I got a bit problem... I got the DAOC gold edition installed on my computer. I need to log with a friend account in order to pay the rent of he's house (level 2) but he doesnt have SI...

Now the funny part, I can load to the server selection panel without having the SI expansion activated BUT when I try to log to a server (Merlin on my case), the Gold edition automaticaly try to load the SI expansion. So, it tell me that I'm not authorise to use the SI...

Only 2 days left to his rent... Anyone have an idea? And no I dont have the basic version with a valid cd key... My only way atm is to buy him the SI expansion! What a mess!
