You buy it from a Legendary Armorer lol. This is a player crafted suit of armor, that can then be spell crafted, etc to give you uber resists, bonuses to your skills, etc.

The cost? I know for my arms it was going to cost like 1.7 plat, then you also have to pay for it to get spellcrafted etc. that's for 99% quality. If you want 100%, it prob triples the cost. I'm a legendary armor, only lev 1000 though, still 100 more till i can make the best stuff.

I've never really heard the term "legendary armor" before. The level of armor that an armorcrafter can make is obviously depending on his armorcrafting skills, but I wouldn't call the armor that he can make at 1000+ "legendary," I'd just call it level 40-something player crafted armor.

You're not referring to Epic armor, are you?

No, he is refering to " Legendary Armor ", fo sure. Its a special PC armor thats the best that can be crafted by players. Its very involved to make, requiring stuff that can only be found as drops off critters. These droped items are then used with PC " Exceptional " armor to make the " Legendary Armor ". This is also how things work with " Legendary Weapons ". Its all the xtra steps that make this stuff VERY costly. But from what i read, well worth the cost.

I'm a LGM armororer, weaponcrafter, alchemist, spellcrafter, and tailor. There is no such thing as legendary armor. The best you can have is MP lvl 51 armor. There ARE legendary weapons, which are made with items dropped off of high level mobs in ToA. But there are no legendary armors. Noobs.

You sure, could have sworn i have seen listings of Legendary Armor. Guess i'm wrong, but don't count it out yet.

Ya Az is exactly right on this issue. My comments were pertaining to lev 51 PC armor, sry for the misinformation. I think your confusing Epic armor and Legendary weapons. Just go with Az's comments, they are correct.

Because I dont play as much as I would like to lately due to schedules....is it true that Epic armor comes from Epic quests which you get from seeing your trainer after you have reached 50.

Am I right or wrong?

thankyou.

The epic quests are listed under each character-toon type page on this website. They start at level 7 and finish at level 50, but in total are about 10-12 quests. If you don't do one, you can't do the next step. Each quest gives you a jewel, weapon or other item plus exp and gold as well, so I think it's worth it.

The mother load is the Epic armor you get when finishing the final quest at level 50. But this armor in today's game isn't nearly as good as PC level 51 gear, when adding in spellcrafting and alchemy procs. I was told by an oldtimer that the Epic armor used to be the top of the line stuff, but that was years ago. Even though you couldn't pay me to use the Epic armor (since I have a Legendary Armoror and Spellcrafter), it looks cool as crap and the quests are a fun diversion in the game if your bored. Most the quests I've done can be done solo except for the level 50 ones, although this may be different with different toons.

So I say do the quests for fun, but get your armor from a player, SC it and proc it.
