5-3 Three PathsFollow

So a ls member, who came back a monthish ago after taking a year long break is on three paths and the rest of the ls is coming close to be able to do 5-3. I know that there is a lot of steps in this mission and a lot to do. The ls member isn't really clear as to where she left off because of the many things that are involved .So is there a way to see where a person left off in this mission, and is it true that you can complete any of the paths no matter which one you picked. Can you also get halfway done with one path and decide to do another one? Should my ls mate just do whichever path the ls decides and just kind of back track to see where exactly she left on?

as far as i know you can do them in any order, and even start others while half way through another. this is mostly knowledge i've gotten from wiki/erecia's CoP guide but im sure they dont have to be done in any certain order

My girlfriend has this EXACT SAME problem! We quit when she was in the middle of 5-3 (Luckily I had finished 5-3). We need to figure out what she has left to do! I can only imagine we did the things for her that were level 50 cap only, because that is what level her character was before we quit. Now that we are back we have some work to do.

Although it may look like a lot to do for one silly mission, it really isn't. I was stuck on 5-3 for a few years because I was scared of all the trouble/time spent doing it. Yet, when I finally got around to it, it took a few hours per path at most.

I shouted for an hour one day, we scheduled a run for the next day, and we continued onward from there.

The plan was to finish CoP together but I got left on 8-2 due to rl schedules =[
