Hello and welcome to this definitive guide the
The first best and last stop for all things concerning
the Strange Apparatuses in Vana'deil.

I'm your host Alaaba, a researcher of such things.

So table of contents are as follows...

Part I
What the heck are you talking about?

Good question, what am I talking about?
Throughout Vana' diel there are almost a dozen
Zilartian synthesis array devices that are still
functional to this day. Though under highest of
speculation we long suspected that the Zilarts used
these devices to create materials and even weapons
manufactured at a quality far surpassing that of any
Hume's hands.

They resemble many classic features of Zilartian style
architecture, including the cermets material,
crystalline power distribution and of course a liquid
based computing nexus. Technology that to this day
still confounds many of my fellow colleges on
appropriate recreation of such devices.

These Strange Apparatus are often very well hidden and
protected from and by the elements. The devices have a
offensive security system capable of amassing elemental
energy into a controllable form it is believed that
current day elementals where created by such security
systems over a long period of time and these programs
are left to run on their own chasing the weather or
sources of concentrated energy in order to maintain
minimal functionality.

Other security device includes a password function,
automatic doors and a holographic projector to conceal
its location even more from wandering souls.

Part II
Okay and this helps me out how?

Just as intriguing as the last question, like some
Zilartian devices such as the power collection stations
commonly known, as crags are still functional, and like
the crags they have their usefulness.

As I mentioned before this is a synthesis array and
unlike our current crafters, its fully capable of
bypassing the alchemic law of conservation that all
the materials you start a reaction with will result in
the same materials afterwards in different form or
combination. As long as proper materials, program, and
energy are included the possibilities are there.

Though the use of a single infinity core its capable
of procuring many potential items that don’t even
match its original composition. Though the program of
which the device chooses is still uncontrollable.

It is, however, has been observed those with doctor's
status obtainable though a personal password can
eliminate only one undesired results of excess
clustered crystallized energy. These devices have been
known to bring some explorers great fortune or
possessing some excessively rare devices. So for those
out there, this may be worth an investment to find out.

Part III
I see, where do I find these thingamajigs?

There are eleven located throughout Vana'deil possibly more
but only eight are fully functional though and I'll reveal
the eleven objects of question into two pre-flavored groups.

Working

Dangruf Wadi
Relatively very easy. The holographic
field can be found at F11, protecting its objective at
E11, oh please be cautious as to not fall down the hole.

Gusgen Mines
The hologram is projected at J6 from
the apparatus at J5 of the second map. This area is
easily accessible for cautious players and is reached
though the doors at either G6 or H6 on the first map.

Crawler's Nest
Crawler's nest is easy as long as you know what tunnel
to take. Enter in from Rolanberry fields and make you
way the Egg sac room as its popularly called where the
edges of I9 7 J9 meet. From here take the
south-southwest tunnel at I9. This will take you to map
2. From there you can find the field of trickery at J8,
which leads to the mysterious Strange Apparatus at K8.

Ordelles Caves
This will take effort to find. The illusionary wall can
be found at F11 protecting the apparatus at E12 on the
third map. One you enter from H2 on the first map
you'll need to precede to I5, which will lead to the
third map. This path will then mostly follow the east
side until H9 is reachable on this map, which will take
you up to, the first map once again. Once here you’ll
find four holes that lead to the bottom and it’s highly
suggested to drop down at the hole in the room located
at G12. Once down the hologram wall should be to the
west of your position. Do not fall of the cliff or you
will have to try again.

Eldieme Necropolis
The trick wall is at L13 and the secreted apparatus is
at K13. Is slightly difficult and may require other
people to help out. You enter in from Battilia Downs
from I10. This places you on J9 on map 3. Travel
southward until you’re in the room of G9 drop down
though the bones pile into the ground below. Once
settled travel south and hang a west ward direction.

Outer Hurutoto Ruins
Invisible wall is located at F6 with the Strange
Apparatus residing in E6 on map 4. To reach here you’ll
need to enter from F4 of West Sarutabaruta, this will
land you on map 5 which all you do is exit to the east
once in the main room on that map. Once on map 4 follow
the west wall and you will find the entrance eventually.

Garlaige Citadel
This will be a pain and will require friends and some
courage. The strange apparatus is hidden well deep int
this dungeon at J8 on the fourth map with the magic
barrier at western part of J8. You will enter from the
normal entrance and proceed to the first banishing gate
at I9, take caution not to fall into the holes. Once
you and three followed throw the switch proceed though
and you'll be on the third map at G8. Navigate your way
to the second banishing gate at H10 once this slightly
more tricky gate is open proceed though. You are now on
the fourth map. Head east and find J10 its should led
past the crematory hatch.

Maze of Shakhrami
The fake wall can be found at K10 on the second map
leading to the elusive Stranger Apparatus at L10.
Quickest way here is to inter here from F6 in Buburimu
Peninsula. This will place you on the first map at M10.
Follow the southern wall and continue to do so until
you reach the apparatus at the basement area.

Non-Working

King Ranperre's Tomb
The hologram is projected on E8 while the apparatus
resides at E7 on the second map. This area is
inaccessible to weak players as the magic fields that
protect the tomb prevent further entry. You can enter
this area though G10 on the first map.

Ragamount Pass
This is also fairly easy. The hologram is at E5 the
apparatus at F5. Navigate the tunnels beyond the elvan
guards and you find the magical field right by the
landmark 'Waters of Oblivion'.

Fei' Yen
The projection is at G6 and the apparatus is at F6.
Without a map this would be hard, as it requires you to
go though the more dangerous basement. Make your way to
G9 on the starting map it will be a set of stairs
leading downwards. Once on the basement map proceed to
E7 on a stairs leading back up. Once here do not fall
off the rubble or you’ll wind up going though the
basement again. Proceed to G6 and you'll find the
Apparatus there waiting for you.

Note: This guide will not be held responsible
for any and all injuries you may receive.

Part IV
Okay found it, now what, how does it work?

Good question, sadly the devices are a victim of time,
and are half functional. Though with some help we've
been able to decipher the original messages that have
deteriorated on the computer.

01 Authorization granted. Welcome Doctor <Username>.
02 It is the will of Altana. May heaven glory have mercy.
03 Welcome the to the Morph Matter Emulator insert

11 Warning! System Overload!
12 Entering Safety mode ID erased.
13 Deletion process complete
14 Deletion process failed
15 Severe Level Warning! Shutting down systems to
prevent system overload.

We assumed there are more available lines of codes but
they are lost beyond to the sands of time. As you see
the device has asked for an Infinity Core, a catalyst
Elemental Chip and a Password.

From all the sources we know that infinity core is
something, extra terrestrial and simply doesn’t exist
in our current realm of existence. However very daring
adventurers have found many samples in the past and
rumors of even more being found daily from strange
arcana from another realm, many are willing to part
easily with them as they yield no value to them.

The elemental chips can be obtained from goblin traders,
though over price goblins do tend to sell things that
are shiny for high prices. They are persistently sold
from three places though and this flyer proves it.

*--------------------------------------------------------*
Choppy Felox Deluxe Chip Chop Shop Located at thevfs
inconspicuous locations close to yours truwley.

We sellz theves verry cools chips, yah? They are the
hottest thing undergrounds so we'th sharem with you,
buts not fer frees.

We are open from the crack of lunchy and close before
Beddox bedtime.
Thats 1100-2200 for those that don't knoweth such times.

Store Location:
Northern San d'Oria, Right behind the pile of lumber.
Clerk: Gaudylox (no relations to Goldylox) and he likes
to takes Firesdasies off, because he thinks his store
will catch on fire that day, so back off!

Port Bastok, In the dark alleyway by the ware house.
Clerk: Blabbivix (dont talk with him or you’ll regrets
its latorz.) And he hasn’t changed his filter in a while
so on windysday he likes hides from the foul smelling
Hume, good luxies finding him on that day.

Windurst Walls, Underneath the bridge.
Clerk: Scavnix (rumoreds to be trollox that like to eat
sheeps) Light burns him very badly so he takes
Lightsday off and don't bring any lanterns either!

All chips are fer 21,000 gil a peice get dem while
they are in stox. (prices may vary)
*--------------------------------------------------------*

It seems the goblins do have a monopoly over such
items, at least the price is affordable.

The password however eluded us, it took a time three
Vana’dielian years to figure out the codes. Also the
efforts of investigators shouldn't be forgotten as
they searched all over Vana'deil and risked thumbs and
toes for an answer, unfroutunatly the matheticians beat
them to the answer.
I'll explain this in our next section in greater detail
and not in this section as its not needed in order to
make the machine work.

Now with the items you have make sure you buy the right
chip for the apparatus. Failing to do so will create a
very strong elemental guardian entity at only the
strongest of players can best alone. To help your
correlation every Strange apparatus has visible power
lines and capacitors that take a phase of power from
the prismatic lines based on its element. For those of
you that don't understand what I just said here’s a
simple chart that even an orc can figure out.

Working

Dangruf Wadi
Red Fire

Gusgen Mines
Yellow Earth

Ordelles Caves
Green Wind

Cralwers Nest
Blue Water

The Eldieme Necropolis
Clear Ice

Outer Horutoto Ruins
Purple Lightning

Garliage Citadel
White Light

Maze of Shakhrami
Black Dark

Non-Working

King Panperres Tomb
Carmine Sea

Ranguemount Pass
Grey Moon

Fei-Yin
Cyan Sky

Now once you find the correct chip, have a core, and got
clearance to use the apparatus, place both items in and
whalla! poof! An item will pop out in exchange of those
two items. If you fail to match the chip and apparatus
the chip will detonate and the system will unleash the
guardian upon you, do not make the same mistakes of some of
my colleges who are no longer with us.

Part V
The machine started up and the creepy lady asked for a
password, please help me.

The password is to allow the use of doctor's status.
This eliminates the creation of energy capacitor arrays
or as we call it today, crystal clusters, thus eliminating
a possible pick, a very common pick I mind you, of items the
machine could randomly generate.
This is the result of very hard work and complicated
work so please bear with it as I try to explain
in lamest terms.

The password in the end combines to make an 8-digit
number.
The 8-digit number is composed of 4 separate numbers.
These 4 numbers are two digits each and will be A, B, C,
& D in the formula
A equals the first letter value of your name
B equals the second letter value of your name
C equals the third letter value of your name.
The value of A B or C can be found in the chart below.

A = 00, H = 07, O = 14, V = 21
B = 01, I = 08, P = 15, W = 22
C = 02, J = 09, Q = 16, X = 23
D = 03, K = 10, R = 17, Y = 24
E = 04, L = 11, S = 18, Z = 25
F = 05, M = 12, T = 19,
G = 06, N = 13, U = 20,

After the values of A B or C are found a modifier is
then added to A B and C.
The modifier will be X in the formula.
The modifier is based on which apparatus you use.
The modifier tables are below

00 - Dangruf Wadi - Fire
01 - Gusgen Mines - Earth
02 - Crawler's Nest - Water
03 - Ordelles Caves - Wind
04 - Eldieme Necropolis - Ice
05 - Outer Horutoto Ruins - Lightning
06 - Garlaige Citadel - Light
07 - Maze of Shakhrami - Darkness

The value of D is equal to the total value of the modified
A B C numbers combined together along
with the number modifier added, or put simply the
unmodified values of A B & C = D + 4X

Note: Cannot confirm that if D obtains a number over 99
if it reverts back to the remainder removing the 100 or
does it add +1 to the first digit of C. Please help confirm
if you got a name that can fits the glove or have a mule
that you can delete remake name it ZZZtop or something like that and get an ls member to escort you to Maze of Shakarami.

Thus the formula would look like this

Password = (A+X), (B+X), (C+X), (D=(A+X)+(B+X)+(C+X)+X)
or alternativly (A+x), (B+X), (C+X), (D = A+B+C+4X)

Examples, If I where to use my name for all of the
possible places the results would be the following

00110011 - Dangruff Wadi
01120115 - Gusgen Mines
02130219 - Crawler's Nest
03140423 - Ordeal's Caves
04150427 - Eldieme Necropolis
05160531 - Outer Horutoto Ruins
06180635 -Garlaige Citadel
07180739 - Maze of Shakhrami

Notice how the first three pairs of digits only
increased by one with every formula and the last set
by 4. If your horrible at math you can use this to
your advantage to figure out the number of times you
add 1 to the first three sets and 4 to last set based
on the basic value used in Dangruf Wadi. Or simply put
dangruf wadi password + (01010104*X).

A fellow scholar, Mase has provided a wonderful tool though
[link =http://sholin.user.tehh4x.net/password/ie_password.php]here.[/link]
This is for those of you that can fathom or bother to
remember the formulas I've explained above for your convience.

Part VI
Turn on, check. Puts in secret code, check. Shove items
in, check.
Now what supposed to come out again?

Although the option to choose a desired object probably
failed long time ago it doesn’t stop the hardware from
picking a random formula preset in the system. The
chances of picking harder formulas are less though;
simpler formulas will be picked with priority.

This is a link list of the better rewards

Arcane Flowerpot
Rune Arrow
Rune Axe
Rune Baghnakhs
Rune Bangles
Rune Blade
Rune Bow
Rune Chopper
Rune Gun, Not Available Yet
Rune Halberd
Rune Rod
Rune Staff

These weapons have hidden effects activated in combat and
using the persons magical force as an energy to power itself
up greatly.

After weeks of research its final,
!!!ALL RESULTS EXCEPT FOR THE CLUSTERS ARE
POSSIBLE WITH ALL APPERATUSES!!!

New assumption is now the moon phase determine
what weapons are procured and I look forward to
seeing ANY and if ALL of your weapon drops
and the current moonphase, its also better
to morph on the day of the apperatus.

If you get a result not listed here yet please report
it here or to me. Also if you get any rune weapon result
record the moon phase and send it in Ill compile that
information. others would be classified as any non rune item.
Thank you.

Part VII
Lunatic Research Project
(Arcane Flowerpot is a rare drop so it was included in the research.)

This section is meant to keep track of many many results and
compare them to otehr moon phases and or apperatuses.
As of now the only constant we ask for is that you
use the same day as the apperatus for example
dangruf wadi is red and fire so try these on firesdays
this will increase the yeild on the rarer items.
If fellow adventurers deem it nessecary we can do this on a
day of the week basis but imange the list below and multiply the width it by 8.

Possible Results

[01]Arcane Flowerpot
[02]Rune Arrow
[03]Rune Axe
[04]Rune Baghnakhs

Heres the table so far on results and unfourtuantely I will be
seperating them by apperatus color so... this is going to be a
very long list.
There is also a total list at the end to compare to
see if even apperatus location yeilds better results or
not.

When submitting the information please
include the current moon phase,
item (even if its an item of no interest)
and locations. Thank you.

Part VIII
Quick Summary, Rumor mill, Speculation, Notes.

Disproved Theories
So dont even think about repeating please.

"Password was provided at the end of Zilart Missions,"

Untrue and confirmed by dozens of players.

"There may be more than 11 strange apperatuses for regions
without them."

This isnt true, one region has two (nonworking)
strange apperatuses, also this is highly not
lenient as there is no physical existence of any
extra matter morphers also that and all of them have been
installed in original dungeons.

Unproven Theories

"The mini-chips can be combined with regular chips to
procure even more amazing results."

As of now these chips are solely used in Limbus and
nowhere else and the properties of these chips are
not classic to the original 11 so these are highly
unlikely never will be used for the apparatus.

"The three chips, gray, carmine, and cyan correspond to
the non-working apparatuses."

Because all of those three apparatus do not work this
cannot be proven, let alone the Fei'Yin apperatus
is missing compacitors, the Ragamount Pass has no power,
and the one in King Ramperre's Tomb computer is deteroirated
beyond repair. Who knows when these apperatus might go back
online.

"The 12 ingame moon phases corresspond to the 12 rune drops
the apperatus just allows you to match days best quickly
for best results"

This is why the lunatic section exist as of now im egging this
theory on.

Part IX
Final Notes:
None remaining.

Final Words
Thus this concludes the wonderful guide on the Strange
Apparatuses and I hope you continue to explore
Vana’deil and its many wonderful mysteries.

A couple of quick little corrections. The NM "Tros" in Ranguemont Pass is a spawned mob for the BRD AF. If he is present its because someone is currently in the process of killing him. Also the chips cost 21,000 each not 20K.

Other than that.. **** awesome guide ^^ Never knew the info about the passwords.

You note the 4 issue for D in the text below, but it's off in the formula above. It should be:

D = (A + X) + (B + X) + (C + X) + X

or, simplified,

D = A + B + C + 4X

Namely the first three numbers you got, plus one more X on top of that.

I'm a bit of a Strange App Afficianato. I have a few more obtainable items for you list:

Garlaige Citadel
Rune Arrows X6
Arcane Flowerpot

Maze of Shakhrami
Rune Rod

I did these on Lightsday, New Moon, in both areas. For Garlaige, it was before the passwords were broken, and I didn not hve Doctor status, so I ended up getting some light clusters also. For Maze of Shakrami, I had Doctor status and received no clusters, every items was profit.

And right now as I post, it's about to hit Darksday, New Moon, so I'm going to try Maze of Shakrami again.

Thank you very much Kayberry for your contribution, I'll continue to keep this list updated with things people find.

Please note if a Rune weapon is listed but not confirmed by either I or a fellow adventurer, then its still in doubt and needs comfirmation.

Updated for the new year it appears that nobody has found a
relic gun yet so if you get word of it hit the site and myself
up with the info, thank you.

Added a link list.
Changed a Speculation, its now assumed all results can be obtained from one apperatus its just that some results are more frequent than others, please help confirm this.

I would also like to see if its possible to get word with admin
on making a summarized version of this to replace the outdated
allah quest log on this subject.

That's a link to an online password generator, pretty simple. Just type in the first three letters of your name, then choose the SA, and voila. This has been floating around the internet for a while, just thought it would simplify getting the password for the non-mathwhiz's out there.

My bad, i didn't know the Arcane needed to be confirmed. I've gotten 9 of them so far in my last 3 runs. ***** rare items. I always warp after i get one, and put it in my Delivery box, otherwise you can't get another. ><)

I've also gotten a TON of Rune Arrows, Rune Bows, Rune Axes, and Rune Bangles.

You can confirm Water cluster. I traded before i remembered that i might need to refresh the password... and got a cluster just now. ><

Last night I got a Rune Blade (Sword), so that can be confirmed.

All Crawler's Nest, of course. I'm gonna start going to others pretty soon.

To help finish dispelling rumors listed about new chips:

The three new chips found in Pso'Xja are all related to the CCB Polymer Pump quest. You trade all three chips to Cid and he provides you a CCB Polymer Pump, useful for the Ultima and Omega battles in PM6-4 "One to be feared".

The chips discovered in Limbus unlock each of the later limbus "Central" areas. The reward at the end of the Central areas is yet another chip, which unlocks the boss fights with Proto-Ultima and Proto-Omega.

So these new chips are all unrelated to the Strange Apparatus quest, and have their own distinct purpose.

Only thing I've gotten from using the apperatus on days other than its element was a spawn of a high level elemental. So don't try to use the dangruf wadi apperatus on windsday unless you can take down a lv 70 light elemental ^^

Edit:
All this time, we (my LS) thought chip was suppoessed to match day and device, not just device. Lol.

We always traded on fires day because of tis. We have goten just about everything but the runegun, I don't think its even in game. I think moonphase determine drop% odds of the ietems, we get far more adaman nuggets and rune weapons on fullmoon 95% or higher. Tend to get junk when in the low teens waxing or waning.

I've left game for awhile and HW LS has disbanded, but a few members keep in touch and one shares this alla userID with me, so he'll update if he learns anything new, says he has 4 cores to try this week.

I had a bit of luck (although I wouldn't call it that ebcasue of their selling price) with my last run.

Lightsday, Full Moon, Maze of Shakrami, Doctor Status (between 11AM and 1PM)
11:00: Rune Chopper
11:30: Rune Baghnacks
12:00: Rune Arrowsx6
12:30: Cermet Chunks

I'm surprised that the only grataxe for BRD, BLM and SMN would sell for so low. Granted, their latent greataxe skills are nonexistant, but still, the raw damage of the weapon should be considered

And from what I hear, the carmine (Phoenix/Fire-Light) Strange Apparatus now works...I'll find out tonight what happens, and replace this section with results.

Garliage citadel i can confirm is light. Took me three weeks of camping to find people to let me though.

Just remember you can trade ti in on different days just dont trade the wrong chip to the wrong apperatus, youll cause an over load and the system will retailiate.

Ill update results this weekend when I get a few of my items turned in, I have however been busy with my other project, an exp guide complete with party guidelines, exp and exp formulas, limit points and merits, alternate experince gaining, camps and a basic besitary for exp camping.
As of current request on help of this issue I want to know the exp % losses for hping with moghancement and without and when does the other values start kicking in (i know its around 10% of next tnl until a certain level then it drops down to 8-9 i dont remember.

ok, first of all, rate up to you sir. excellent job, and i greatly appreciate you bringing this information to a dedicated thread.

STICKY THIS THREAD PLEASE!!!!

secondly, i will help continue the research, as this is one of the few pieces of the game i feel is not yet completely understood. (along with cactus stems, which i still maintain as being the totally undiscovered/undisclosed gardening craze).

i will use this post to update my results ASAP. looking forward to contributing to the cause.

my suggestions for other apparatus goers:
~trade weak elemental day to apparatus, and strong ele.day.
~trade new moon and full moon.
~perhaps approach the apparatus like you would gardening: the ~same element not always the most beneficial as far as the outcome is concerned.
~experiment!

gl^^ to those of you who will help uncover the mysteries of the apparati! look forward to reading into this, and researching it more myself!

nosaabs

Hey, I have been using these strange apparatus' for awhile now. A friend and I trade all of our cores obtained in dynamis to the device in CN, we receive a surprisly large amount of cores, without even lotting on them.

Anyways, there seems to be a distinct pattern (unfortunetly I have not kept records of this) that both my parter and I have have seen. And yes this pattern was very obvious to us, maybe if others can confirm it would be great.

Pattern:
When we first started using the device we frequently received rune arrows, with the more rare adaman nuggets/chunks/flower pot.

When we got the the *middle stage* (unknown how many cores) we received only chunks, adaman nugets and occasional flowerpot.

Where we are now: the majority of all drops are rune weapons, not arrows. We havent received a rune gun yet, if we do I will post again with that info.

While I never kept track of how many we each tradded, we always do this together, we wait until we both have the same number of cores to trade, and these results occured for both of us at the exact same time. All cores/chips were used in CN and passwords were used before all trades.

Timeframe: we have been doing this since early november, and trade approximetly 1 core/chip per week, each.

Interesting, this may be comparable to chocobo digging or what few have assumed mining. If you can try to keep track of them. Ill add your info to the guide as it sheds a new perspective to the issue.

Both guides is generically complete the only difference between thiers and mine is that this is a continuing investigation of drop rates and what difference any of the different elements making it plausable if its even nessecary to even goto certain ones.

Im still looking for Dynamis Linkshells to help out though, I know you guys get infinity cores like mad and you should try to help get a list together of drop rates if you even do them instead of selling. This research however has drained my finicial funds on the game to the point its inhibiting further progression of my main job, which is why I havent updated with results of my own in a while.

3rd trade: Arcane Pot

Small note: I've forgotten, but I *think* adaman nuggets come in pairs of 2..Didn't write it down =/

*whew*..3 months of trades logged and now posted.

Theory:
more dark element (darksday, new moon), better chance of arcane pot. More light element, (lightsday, full moon), or more element of the aperatus is weaker/stronger (watersday, firesday, iceday @ Dangruf wadi, which is fire element) better chance of a rune weapon of some kind. Other element may infuelnce odds on specific rune weapon, such as rune arrows on windsday (not that those are in any way rare for me >.<).

In an effort to conclusively prove or disprove that we can alter the chances of getting a specific item by timing when we make the trade to the aperatus, a testing project has been started at http://www.acewashere.thewebpage.net/

To participate in said project record the full output of the /clock command just prior to the trade, result of said trade, and "Doctor status: yes" / Doctor status: no" to forgottenandlost AT gmailDOTcom (yes thats the admins actual email not a joke, modded to dodge address collection bots).

Nupe, I believe the book is pretty much closed on this one, unless they ever add a way to reactivate the 3 inactive ones or perhaps visit them in the past before they were damaged. Good bump, regardless :)

Goes without saying (yet I'll say it anyway) that this is a great guide and I just wanted to thank everyone who made it possible.

Although it's been said in this guide, and it certainly seems possible, to get any Rune weapon from any Strange Apparatus, I haven't (at this point, January 2009) seen any reports of certain Rune weapons at any given Strange Apparatus, so I'd like to add the following, culled from Killing Ifrit, FFXIclopedia, this thread, other parts of Alla, personal conversations, and elsewhere.

Disclaimer: This list is theoretical and not meant to be taken as FFXI fact.

In most cases, the most common result I've seen reported comes first, followed by a maximum of three more in most-to-least common order. In a few cases, I've theoretically extended the trend (example: presupposing that Rune Rod will be the most common result of the Maze, given more data).

Code 00: Dangruf Wadi: Rune Baghnakhs (Rune Axe, Rune Chopper, and Rune Halberd also reported)

Code 01: Gusgen Mines: Rune Chopper (Rune Axe, Rune Baghnakhs, and Rune Bow also reported)

Code 02: Crawler's Nest: Rune Axe (Rune Bow, Rune Blade, and Rune Chopper also reported)

Code 03: Ordelle's Caves: Rune Bow (Rune Blade and Rune Halberd also reported)

Code 04: The Eldieme Necropolis: Rune Blade (Rune Staff and Rune Halberd also reported)

Code 05: Outer Horutoto Ruins: Rune Halberd (Rune Rod, Rune Staff, and Rune Bow also reported)

Code 06: Garlaige Citadel: No Data (Rune Staff and Rune Rod according to FFXIclopedia table)

Code 07: Maze of Shakhrami: Rune Rod (Rune Chopper and Rune Baghnakhs also reported)

I believe that, put simply, there are four runic weapon results possible at each Apparatus, and each runic weapon possible at four different Apparati (with varying probabilities; we've yet to find that last Rune Axe, Rune Baghnakhs, Rune Blade, Rune Rod, and Rune Staff). Perhaps someone who knows more than I do about Weapon Skills' elemental attributes (I've heard that most Polearm Weapon Skills are Lightning, which makes the connection between Outer Horutoto and Rune Halberd more likely) can shed more light on this.

If you're interested in joining my efforts to uncover the mysteries of the Strange Apparati, here's a link to my site.

Please include Apparatus Used, Moon Phase, Day, and Item in your results. :) Be sure to always use your Doctor passwords, though, to avoid getting elemental clusters.
