As if being Player of the Month wasn't awesome enough, voting is now open to choose... (drum roll please)... the Allakhazam 2008 Player of the Year!

From now on, the Player of the Year competition will be a regular event featuring the Player of the Month winners from the past 12 months. However, to be fair to last year's winners, this inaugural Player of the Year contest will include all PoMs from 2008 AND 2007!

I was tied up between Pahn and Jinte, I only vote for the monk party anyways. Jinte always provides laughs and Kiera Knightley goodness, while Pahn always know whats right (for us mnks atleast and most other stuff as well), like a galkan jesus, so seeing as George Washington never tells a lie I flipped a quarter.

Wow, tough choice. Was down to VZX or milich, as to me they've done the most to further the knowledge of their respective job communities. Not that the others on the list haven't done that or haven't done anything worth recognition, but that's the most important factor for me. They've helped me directly and indirectly to understand the game on a far deeper level in an effort to make the people who take their advice to heart better and more well-rounded and reactive players (and other great posters like shintasama and ScarShiva and Nateypoo and MagusAlley, that I can think of off the top of my head have done so as well too).

Ended up voting for milich. Can I vote again for VZX?

it's player of the year, but it was meant to be alla's player of the year. It's sort of like voting for some british guy to be our president, on a much less political scale. How often does elmer interact with our community compared to the other nominees? once a month? if that?

everyone on that list has gotten into it with someone. That tarnished someone's opinion of them.

everyone except elmer. He doesn't post here often enough to argue with us, or to offend anyone, therefore he has an advantage over the rest of us, because everyone likes him, or atleast respects him.

Well, if that's how you judge whether one should be voted or not, then go ahead let that criterion be yours and yours only. Let the other people vote what they think who would be fitted, unaffectedly.

EDIT: idk about you. I think tummie did a pretty good job on live blog on fanfest. Good enough for people to recognize him.

"Us" meaning =10, =28 and =4?
I'm pretty sure every question I've posted in the RNG forums has been answered by, commented on, or at least had refferences to VZX. And the same goes for milich in the DRG forums. And considering he's a MNK main, I expect he's even more active in the NNK forums.

My votes are still torn between lolgaxe, milich and VZX. So they don't have the =10 "banter", well, gaxe might... but even so, they've given us a lot more than chat and pirates over the year(s).

And I don't even know who CactuarSensei is ._.
