Sih Gates seems to be typically uncamped in comparison to the "Bat Camp" in Woh Gates. It's where you fight the mob for the Respite Cloak. I have soloed that area for CP and it's remarkably easy, empty, and the CP rewards are high when you kill the Detremites. If you happen to have a good party in there, you can CP and farm for pop item and then try for Respite Cloak. It's a worthwhile investment.

There's a number of good Gates camps aside from the Woh bats. Leeches/Efts in Moh, and Flies/Crabs/Efts in Dho come to mind right off the bat. As usual it just requires people to be willing to deviate from the norm and try.

I've done several laps around Sih Gates today trying to find two colonization reives for my RoE objective, and I did not see the mobs that you're describing.

If you're trying to encourage alternative camp usage, it might behoove you to give some sort of location/directions to where exactly you're talking about >_>

You might want to check the second set of zones, where the NMs spawn.

The better exp/cp camps are typically in the lower areas of the gates zones, and are not directly accessible from the more common entrences. To get to them, you have to use the teleporters found in the outdoor zones. These appear as an odd-looking spike of stone sticking out of the ground, with more smaller spikes around it (think druidic sun dial) and are only usable after the character has defeated the WKR for that zone. The Ceizack one is south of outpost #1. The Marijami one (popular bat camp) is south of outpost #3, on a raised platform (climb near all the bunnies) near the river.

Sorry, don't have maps up to give grid coordinates, but in general, this is probably why you were having trouble finding these camps.

Oh, I remember those things. Always wondered wtf they were going to be used for.

Never had any idea until now that they were now usable @_@
