Must've rolled to disbelieve!

Simple enough, but that's a lot of Bayld. Why must repicking rewards always be so unpleasant?

.......to make the choice meaningful.

They don't want players swapping rewards willy-nilly because they want it to be an actual choice you have to choose. But yet, they don't want to punish players who want to change their main job some months/years down the road because they took the wrong reward, so they allow you to change your mind later, but it usually costs you time, or in this case, a large chunk of bayld.

They obviously want this ring to be one of the BiS rings in the game for the chosen playstyle; when you choose this ring, you're supposed to make a conscious decision as to what you want to improve and what kind of playstyle you want in End-game. But yet, like I said, they don't want you to forever be locked into one playstyle until the ring is obsolete (if that will ever be a thing).

Otherwise, they'd just give you all the rings, all at once.

Man, looking back on the CoP and ToAU rings now makes me feel silly about how I ever deliberated over those.

Rereading the Weatherspoon ring. I didn't notice the "light elemental" part, just saw the "magic attack bonus +10". I'm assuming the two are together as "light elemental magic attack bonus +10"?

There might be a problem with the stats on the rings. The tank ring says -7% on the Japanese update page. Maybe the light elemental piece is a typo also.

I would hope so, but I have a feeling that it's not. It's the obvious mage ring, but with "Light m.attk bonus", it makes the Adoulin ring the default nuke ring which isn't nearly as supported in stats as the other rings.

You can bet hope that eventually they will reduce the amount of Bayld needed to change rings.

edit: The crafting ring looks nice :)
(..because getting the shaper's shawl sucks..)
