I've been away for a while and I'm thinking about coming back to see some new areas and level jobs I never got to, etc., etc. I've been watching a lot of YouTube videos and what-not with people using Trust NPCs and I just had a quick question regarding them.
They seem to be quite helpful, but I'm wondering just how helpful they really are. I have some mission lines leftover that I never finished (Zilart, CoP, Aht Urghan, etc.) and I was wondering if using the three Trust NPCs would allow me to solo some of the missions that are higher up in these lines. I'm mainly referring to like CoP 8-1 and beyond, Zilart Ark Angel fight and beyond, everything in Aht Urghan because I barely started it.
Any information is greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

you cant summon them in certain places and im thinking battlefields is one of them

If you're willing to level a new job, BST can solo all of those story battlefields you mentioned. You might have trouble with the final WoTG fight, but if you pick up the ilv axe, it should be do-able. The only story battlefields i can recall not being able to solo on BST are the Shadowlord fight and the final ToAU fight because at certain points you will need to deal magic damage. For these fights, you can solo using BLU.

BST can solo the Shadow Lord just fine. High level pets have no trouble lasting until physical immunity times out.
Pretty much any job can solo ZM and CoP and many of the ToAU missions, some easier then other.
