Who would you like to see added to the Trust NPC system? Personally I'd like to see some Beastmen NPCs. I was thinking someone like Gessho.
#2REDACTED, Posted: Jan 05 2014 at 10:22 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I don't want to see anymore at all as most of them are the same and you cant do much with them. Why do we need 5 tanks??? Not to mention you cant buff them much or have them attack without meleeing first. Pretty fail for a mage class.

I feel the complete opposite. These have been a huge benefit to me leveling GEO from around 70 to 82 where i am now. I love being able to get in there and melee. I have myself a healer so I don't have to worry about keeping them alive, a tank to keep the mobs off of me, and somebody who can do more damage than my periodic Hexa-strikes.

I do agree that we seem to have too many that seem similar. No NPC's specifically, but I would like to have a wider range of DD's that use different weapons. I think we have enough of them who use 1-handed swords. I would love to have one that uses a bow though.

yeah I wouldn't complain about more NPCs - even if they act similar, it's nice to pick a team you like looking at. Besides, I'd like more jobs to be covered.

Lilisette. Haste Samba from Lili + March from Joachim = win!

Or Karuha-Baruha, too bad he can't summon a gigantic Fenrir or it would make for a nightmare scenario in WKRs with a million giant Fenrirs.

I understood it as folks from the top 15 most popular npc survey was the trust list. So Perche and Lilisete are kinda guaronteed at some point if so. However I would really have like Maat and Degenhard or their Taru master as a trust npc. But only asuming Maat and Degenhard are on par with their campaign npc's.. As for the taru (what's his name), I'd just let him solo himself to death for all the ??? from the limmit break. (I can invision an interesting bro fist moment just for him to test the strength of his dople ganger)

Other Npc's Id wish could have made it are Lehko Habhoka (trophy npc) , Robel-Akbel (cool looking blm) , Karaha-Baruha (summoner) , Cid , the Yagudo from ToA (nin), and Duskraven (drk #2).. Although It'd be very interesting if Koopfreid (Magian moogle) was trust summon but who knows what job he is.

I have to say, having Trust makes duoing almost totally irrelevant anywhere that Trust applies. Like, going out to get merits:

Kupipi/Joachim/Zeid - Victory March, an extra DD, and two people with MP pools (Kupipi and Joachim). If someone runs out of MP, I unsummon them and call them back.

Duoing with a mage - Haste when my partner isn't afk and only one person with an MP pool. Maybe they add a little damage and maybe they don't. Near-halved XP.

I kill slower when duoing and my xp/hr is approximately halved. Trust is pretty good, but has completely outdated duo partners for stuff like xp.

I think it was meant for those that want to play solo. Even if duo xp is slower, I enjoy that much more since you can actually converse with your partner rather than yelling at Joachim for casting Mages ballad when you have Volker and Naji out...

I think it's for that and to help counteract the really low player populations. ROE and Trust combined are pretty decent tools to help keep players active when there aren't many other players online.

yeah. Since they are looking at enabling Trust NPCs to be summoned in parties I would guess that they weren't trying to make duoing less viable - they were acknowledging that the reality is very few people have anyone to duo with and trying to get something in ASAP to make it suck less.

If it wasn't for trust I would be unsubbed again. Instead I've been ********* around with my THF, leveling up (grabbing power leveling when available, derping around when not - heck I even blew some kindred seals doing a BCNM to get an anubis knife so I can kill flytraps without going insane because trust NPCs don't cure to wake people.

I'm surprised we don't already have Prishe.

I'd kind of like to have Gessho (ninja) and Aldo (???) and maybe an NPC that functions as a Corsair.
