The fact that ToAU and WoTG have all these zones with really no reason to venture into them is kind of sad. At least RoZ and CoP stuff is needed along the way in some capacity, but I can't think of any reason I would need to go to the Past, nor Aht Urghan anymore. So many nice zones sitting their wasted. (Would be nice to see rewards based on Conquest/Campaign/and w/e the **** it was called in ToAU that I can't recall)

Thief damage buffed.

Monk HP/damage nerfed.

More server merges.

Party/alliance buff for each different job in the group to give incentives for diversity.

More consumables from alchemy. Especially stuff to skill up on with the hexed gear outdated and completely unsellable.

Better food.

Considering how long it takes between besieged runs, and how easy it is to miss them, why don't you just have people camp a 24 hour NM four times?

Yeah, not until Besieged can come up more often, or at least be easier to know when it's happening. Which would mean they would happen during low pop times more often, which would mean losing the candy more often, which would mean more low level ones once the candy is returned, which are already over if you blink. Did you really think this through?

You have to if you want to do WoE. Speaking of which, PLEASE put a moogle in there so we don't have to ZONE TWICE to get a new tag thingy, that's the most annoying part of WoE.

I am aware, however, that the way it is now forces your buffs to reset. I'm sure it would be amusing to come out of a WoE with brew on, then jump into a different one with the remaining time. On the other hand, that could be a good thing. See brew in your temps, go to conflux, pop brew, optionally pwn the current area, exit through conflux, retag for another run, enter whichever conflux pisses you off the most, and teach it who's boss for four and a half minutes. Brews are rare enough to begin with, so this could make WoE more fun.

Take out Sky Pop items from that Goblin who has a treasure chest.

I know that sounds confusing as all hell so I will explain.

There is that Gobo in PBastok who gives out items based on points or some sh*t...you get so many per day for not using the service...Whatever.

If you ask him to peek in the box he says you have a chance at sh*t, sh*t, and sky pop item.

Well I spent 5600 Points (I had 7600 points earned, because well thats what happens when you gone for a year) and not once did I see a god damn sky pop item. I saw plenty of sh*tty potions...I did get two Dragon Steaks. I am selling those to people for 25K (30K on AH) Profit!.

I got over 100 items out of this @#%^ing box. Not a single sky pop item. Despite it being on of the things I have a chance at.

Bullsh*t SE!

(not really mad, don't really care, i made about 120K from the guys so its not that bad...but don't say you have a shot at something if you really don't)

Ummmm... I've never seen a sky pop from HER (name ends in -ox!) or any of the other three. And I don't freaking care. The only reason I even know there's a non-zero chance at anything really nice is because of when people with hax could see the invisible bats they used behind the scenes.

And if you think that's the point of those NPCs, you've completely missed it. All they do is give out a bunch of random crap, most of which is outdated junk that nobody needs (woo Karugo-Narugo clay!), but at least most of what isn't worth 20K on AH can be sold to an NPC for pennies. In fact, I would be kind of disappointed with getting a sky pop, especially on a mule, since you can trade/bazaar them but not mail them.

Now for something real to complain about, how about Behind the Sluices. That's a MISSION fight, with STORYLINE behind it, and it's one of the most screwed up fights I've seen from SE. Two of the four enemies apparently ignore hate completely and just beat on whoever they feel like. They even set a 3-person minimum on the fight, not that it's any kind of easy with just three. Good luck finding even two other people to go in with now, what with the current level of server population. I don't need it to be a cakewalk, but considering that this is (IIRC) the first BC-type fight of any kind on the Adoulin missions, the difficulty is way out of line. At least CoP fights were only as hard as they were because of level caps.

I would like to see Bubbly Bernie become some kind of end game mega boss. Kind of like P.W. or Absolute Virtue before they were taken down a notch. 72 hour marathon, no less. I mean, this NM's gotten so much ridicule for being weak, and I feel like after being fed as many fish as he has, he's gotta be tatally jacked now, right? His steamclock could be upgraded for trade to get some nice ish to boot.

I'd also like to see, and I'm being a bit more serious now, godd*mn texture or pathing or whatever you call it, issues fixed. I never understood why a goblin can jump off a cliff to skullf*ck me, but I get caught up on a small rock when running around and have seizures until I move. Frustrates me more than any in game death I've suffered.

I've never heard or seen of a sky pop from the goblin boxes, but I've seen people getting PW pops. That would be pretty cool.

In related news to crazy quantities like 7600 *im not sure what they are for* points.

I have 1846 Abyssea stones. With the Abyssite I have I end up having nearly 54 Straight days of Abyssea time without TE's.
I have 1517 Void Stones. Not sure what that gets me never really did it.

What other stuff accumulates over time? I kinda interested.

At any rate I am honestly actually having fun. I am doing my own thing, and actually being rewarded for it. I have 4 Eminence items and crit for over 500 on my RDM. I have never done that much in a crit on RDM. It was pretty awesome. Doing the 500 Damage trial is trivial now in Abyssea. A mob generally gives 10+ Trials so that is pretty awesome. Eminence gear is also crazy strong. My RDM evades as well as my Decently Geared DNC does(for the content anyway and well sans the fact he can wear eminence stuff to but can't use the Dagger?).

This system is probably the best system I think SE put into the game. Looking at some of the level based gearing provided with FoV/GoV you shouldn't need to hit up the AH for gear at all unless you want to for whatever reason pimp your guy as you level. Its like finally SE decided to make killing sh*t meaningful other than EXP. Now it directly assists in your progression as you level. I am actually awe struck at how enjoyable it makes the game feel compared to last year when I cam back.

Actually being rewarded for playing the game...this is something SE should continue to look at going into 2014.

Well said, rdm.

I'm slowly luring my woman back into the game and she's really enjoying it with all of these changes. She's been gone since... late 2011/early 2012.

Something similar to that vanity system they're (SE) making for FFXIV. That, or being able to stick an armour's appearance on another as an augment through an existing crafting system.

More people.

More desynth recipes.

Make a use for old or low levelled armour. The ah is full of people trying and failing to sell old stuff (it's like eBay, minus the ninja bids and the auctioning).
