Hi, I was wondering if I can buy the new Seekers x pac on steam , and add it to my old account. I ve read numerous conflicting reports. On a side note, how is FFXI, on win 7 and win 8.
Buy it on steam start the install then stop. Right click on it in your library to view the CD key. (You have to start the install before it'll appear) With that key. Log in to your Square Enix account on the website. Under Services and Options click "Select Service" > Then FFXI, Now next to the FFXI Logo to the right there's a button that says "Add a Service account" this is where you enter your codes.
Win7- Works fine.
Win8- Works fine, after adjusting some settings.
Most problems people have is with graphics drivers, rather than Windows versions.
