I don't know if this was asked at some point but, if you had started augmenting a delve piece down one path could you stop and have it switched to go down another path instead?
For example if you just started going down a Str path on manibozo feet and just got a skirmish foot piece for the same job. Could you have the npc change the delve feet from atk/str to range acc/atk, even if it ment restarting it back at 0?

Yes, you can switch, but any airlixirs you put on the item will be gone.
Those pieces of gear are no longer rare, so you can keep multiple pieces rather than lose the progress you made on your current piece.

There's that too, if you're willing to blow the plasm + another inventory slot (this gear isn't muleable and will likely not ever be storable)
