havent played in 2 years. go to renew my account, i have to link POL w SE account...it gives me an error: "This PlayOnline ID cannot be transferred. Please contact the Square Enix Support Center for further details."

of course discovered at 1802, when their support closes at 1800 until monday. anyone familiar with this error? is it something only SE can remedy?

finally a free weekend to do nothing...and something in the way. ffxiv beta is a yawnfest!

edit: I try to make a 14 day trial account and it says "You have exceeded the maximum number of registrations per your IP." my dynamic ip says no way dudes. i guess xi is not to be

another question, different from op:

If I purchase FFXI Ultimate Collection Seekers can I upgrade my old account to abyssea and register the rest of the expansion packs to a new account w a free month? wanna get a lady friend in

aka is it one registration code? (which amazon and steam allude to) or is it more traditional FFXI where it comes with 10 keys?

All in one packs only come with one code. If you use the Seekers bit for your account, no one else can use the code for anything else.
