I didn't see this anywhere so forgive me if its known already. If you get fanatics drink from one of the blue chests, it does not seem to nullify all damage. All it did for me was reduce the damage taken. Just an FYI incase anyone gets one and decides to do something crazy.
There are three different fanatic items in the game.
Fanatic's Tonic is probably the item you picked up. This reduces physical damage by 50%. You still take full damage from magic.
Fanatic's Drink reduces physical damage by 100% for yourself.
Fanatic's Powder reduces physical damage by 100% for all those nearby.

Well maybe it glitched but I remember reading fanatics drink and it said it nullifies all physical damage. Not a big deal either way

The tonic has the exact same description (why? I have no idea). I've made the mistake several times myself because I see "Fanatic's" and instantly think I AM INVINCIBLE! only to die moments later.

Oh I did not know that, Thanks. Would have been cool if it was the invincible one. although the 50% one is not bad.
