Like anything, and as stated above, it all depends on the weapon and class. Some classes get a good spread, some get a decent spread, and others have just terrible weapons all around. Then there are the ones, like MNK's relic, that is a good weapon but loses a fair amount of value when you're not in a situation where you can counter.
SAM's probably one of the few jobs where the relic, mythic, and empyrean are all good weapons. Amano or Masa are really good weapons and fairly equivalent at equal levels of the weapon, and Kogarasumara is probably one of the best weapons in the game with a 95/99/99+ LV3 aftermath activated (Conquerer's right up there on WAR with the Berserk enhancement, but diminished some because of WAR's innate high DA rate). DRK's got... decent weapons to be fair, and the same with DRG, but for those an easier to make Magian Trial weapon is easily on par (if not better) and the upcoming weapons in the expansion will probably end up being even better.
