I've set up my garden in my mog house and I've arranged several pots and pieces of furniture. For some reason, I can set any more down. I have several extra pots in storage (and furniture too) and I'm unable to take them out of storage into my inventory (and No my inventory is not full). The lettering in the storage menu appears greyed out. I am able to take out any other item from storage other than pots and furniture. Merely trying to increase my gil garden size becaue I haz no monay and I'm po.
Any idea of what's going on here? thanks for your help.

OIC. Well, I just recently reactivated my account, but my character main job is lvl 51. I read on ffxi wiki page that only 10 pots are allowed per mog house, but I can't put more than 8 pots for gardening. So confused O.o
Sorry, I misread the post.
Placing a piece of furniture or pot will grey out its name. That is FFXI telling you the item is in use. If you placed an item and want to remove it from your mog safe, you must first make sure you still have available space in storage since removing furniture will decrease storage capacity.
You probably have 8 pots in your mog safe, all of which are greyed out. If you buy a couple more pots from the AH or an npc, you will be able to place them in your mog safe (not storage) then use the Layout option to place them.

Ohhhhh. Well herp derp. The whole time I was thinking I had all these extra pots in my mog safe haha. I didn't realize that even though you have the pots on the ground that it still includes them in your mog safe. Thanks for your help!
