I think your latter assessment is more sound. I didn't buy any marbles this year. No regrets. Mog Bonanza is a rip-off. There's no reason they have to be so stingy and only have 0.0001% of players win. This is a virtual environment with no resource scarcity. There's no reason they can't have something like 50% of players win a rank 3 or above.
