Is this game still alive? I just saw the new expansion pack and think i might come back to try it out, but i dont want to come back to a dead game. been about a year since i last played.

The game is still alive. It has only been a year since you've quit, so it's probably in the same state as when you left. Should you come back? All depends on why you quit.

Yeah, it's alive. But to the OP's standard, it may be dire and considered dead. I see it like that sometimes, I can't be the only one.

Any time I feel like it's dead, I stand in Port Jeuno for a few minutes and that re-arranges that notion in my head.
Sometimes that doesn't do it for me. You can see people shouting to form a group that doesn't fill up for a long time. And when an 18-man party is shouted for, only that particular group will have it filled, or only partially so. It may be when everyone is off at work or school, or there's another group outside town that's already doing the thing that is shouted for, but not always.

Maybe on your server, but on Bismarck I often see two different alliances being formed for the same content at the same time. (Even if it is just another VW Pil run.)
