Lol everyone says it does not matter which world as they are all about equal... just find a good LS when you are there :P. But I believe Odin IS the most populated... along with worlds like Lakshmi and Bahamut.

Update: Just realized that SE did not delete my Character/Content ID, what have you. I am on Carbuncle and i have all my old stuff back, SO EXCITED!
However, i am still going to change worlds to Odin, even though $24.50 for such a service seems a bit steep lol
lol, i hope i remember how to play the jobs properly!

Lol I am sure Carbuncle will suit you finely. Like I said... all servers tend to be rather even in population. But Odin dooes apparently have the largest population. But yeah... 25 bucks is a lot
yeah I don't think it is worth switching servers just to be on the one that might be a tiny bit more populated. They really are pretty even in size, and AFAIK none of them have under-population problems.
Also keep in mind you are restricted from doing another server transfer for some time once you do one so if, say, a old friend comes back and you want to be on the same server, or you make friends on the forums and want to join their LS on another server, you'll be restricted from changing servers.
I would only recommend changing servers if you have a good linkshell waiting.
