Ok so now your wanting to go with insults? Fair play. You want to point out that I have no friends ingame? True enough considering i've only been playing the game for a little under 12 hours. Congratulations dickhead, you managed to insult someone new to the game, that makes you exemplary @#%^in long time player of the year for all new comers. But you know what? I will never stoop so low as to need to have help from cheats online to obtain items out of my means. Any further comments from you will be ignored as your quite clearly a waste of space and unable to discuss things with people without feeling the need to try and put them down via name calling.

You can say that all you want, but seeing as you clearly have never done a single bit of endgame, yet alone neo nyzul (not a bad thing, just referencing how you've played for 12 hours), you really have no idea what the event is like and why people do the things they do to succeed.

Neo nyzul likes to kick us (the players) in the balls repeatedly, nonstop, from the moment you enter from the moment we leave. DAT swaps just allow us to wear a cup while doing it. Unless getting kicked in the balls is your thing, I'd imagine most people that are on the fence for "cheating" will gladly choose the option that entails minimal risk to your account while vastly increasing success rate for the event.

Uhh, no. I was providing a sarcastic, alternate interpretation of your earlier post, which insinuated that I don't have any friends to do Nyzul with. If anything, you were insulting me. Don't play the victim here.

Way to go, well said!!
There's nothing rewarding about cheating, in fact it should make the people who do it feel dirty and ashamed of themselves. I see them bragging and strutting around when in fact they should have their tails between their legs (to put it in words) with their heads down. If you need to cheat in order to achieve something then find another game, if you don't have an interest to the storyline...this is not your game and if you're not here to make friends and teamwork then you should have left a long time ago, in fact you should'nt have considered the game at all. It should be obvious that this is not your cup of tea, all the elements are there or is it that you people need a cheat as well to realize this.

I feel the thing everyone is forgetting is that it's a whole diffirent game now.

It used to be when someone did something bad, you could ignore the person and get on your merry little way. Nothing would change, and you most likely wouldnt run into the person anymore. That is when simply "not caring about cheaters" still worked. The levels were diverse, and you'd rarely ran into the same people when exp'ing or doing events somewhere.

These days, not only is everyone at roughly the same level, we're also all doing the same kind of events. Just count in your head the times you've ran into peopple you've exp'd the day before with. Camping a NM in Abyssea the same person is after? Voidwatch and the familiar "oh no, not that person again"? Walking through Jeuno? The same people shouting for events over and over? It doesnt help that the player base has been reduces greatly. In a way it's nice, since you'll always have a spot somewhere if you're popular or any good, but it also means you'll be running into the same people over and over again.

It's difficult to ignore a person when you know he can outclaim you by cheating, when you know he'll have a far easier time fighting something because he cheated all his super gear together while you yourself are stuck with sub-par gear because you're honest. Especially when you want to do that one Voidwatch thing, and the cheater with a similar job gets your place because he cheated a Relic/emp together with the money he made doing his bad things, while you're stuck with a lesser kind of weapon and are not welcome.

It's a diffirent world now. You cant just ignore cheaters anymore. It's not like we have 5000 other people online anymore. You -are- directly affected by it. It might be minor, but you are. Get them banned and you're a hero, we really dont need these kinds of people anymore in our game. I would gladly sacrifice a Nyzul run if it means i can get a no-clip/speed hacker banned.

Except this isn't Voidwatch, this isn't old-school kings. There is no out-claiming, there is no winner-loser stratification.

The cheating involved does not cheat other parties out of their potential drops, it doesn't deny them access to Neo-Nyzul. Sure, you might run into that guy who got to Floor 100 and got drops more often than you used, but nothing about what he did set you back in any way. You can choose to ally with him and get rewards at the rate he does, or you can choose to take the honest route and get rewards at the rate the developers intended. Either way, you're not actually being hindered.

Except that the exact opposite of this is true, because the old-school cheaters were the ones claiming NMs and kings with bots, or mining with bots, and if you doing activities like that you were pretty much stuck with them being there and beating you by cheating.

Hello all,

Well I haven't said anything on this topic. Tonight though someone was shouting for Neo Nysle Isle, 100. I didn't know if it was a static or not. I only done a pick up group on this once. Anyway it ended up being a static. And they were interested in my Sch. They said 3/6 member static got hacked, more less banned for doing some crazy stuff against ffxi. I can't say I know if its related to this event or not. But SE may be starting to crack down.

I told them While I use Skype, I don't use third party software, good luck.

SE has been banning those using Clipper and other flee tools in NNI for a while now.

Hmmm, I've seen the exact opposite. Who has been bragging or strutting around?

Hellkitteh wrote:

That is exactly what is going to happen if SE "Prrsha hammers" people who have attempted to finish content that realistically cannot be finished otherwise.

Hellkitteh wrote:

The last storyline that was put in the game was about 4 years ago. What should we do in the meantime?

Hellkitteh wrote:

Au contraire, I think most of the rebels make friends quite easily. It's the podium pounders that look to want everyone to get back in with the company line.

Hellkitteh wrote:

and teamwork

Pretty sure that's exactly what the rebels want more of.

Hellkitteh wrote:

Same statement could be said about any number of things to support a position.

For example, this is a top heavy game and if you're a noobie it should be obvious that this is not your cup of tea. This is an MMO and if you want to play solo jobs it should be obvious that this is not your cup of tea. Where your strawman fails is that the people looking to clear NNI are representative of the most loyal of the playerbase, who has likely been around the longest, and has already voiced their concerns for a poorly designed event to SE. SE not only failed to listen to it, they only acted when their own nation of players mounted a counter-revolution. So back to the drawing board for you with your sophmore arguments. We'll be here when you're ready to actually address things in a graduate level manner.

Clearly running around Jeuno with any gear on at all is just a clever ruse to flaunt yourself over the masses.

Um thanks for proving my point? I was hinting to the fact that there are so few coruscantis with people spamming Qilin everyday, yet SE sees nothing wrong with VW drop rates. They instead input a system where you need 5 coruscantis for 1.

I guess what you guys are saying makes since if EVERYONE did VW but they don't. Only a handfull of people actually do VW.
