We are still very open to recruiting, but don't expect to see a recruitment shout in Jeuno because we found that to be ... well ... tacky, and the practice will no longer occur. Be proactive, check out the forums and find an officer if we don't find you first.

Since Blizzard is nerfing WoW to the ground, I may be coming back to FFXI and I may sever transfer. A good group of friends is exactly what i'd need, and I could help out with a lot too. I've only been gone about five months, but it still feels like along time.

I can't find a single experience points party on my server. I'd really like to join this guild.

My question though is, do I really have to wait 90 days from when I purchased my content ID to transfer servers?

Hey there guys, I'm a brand new player in the world of FFXI as of a day ago. I'm extremely lost and could some help on finding things and such. Thankfully I'm on the same server as you guys and would love to get in contact. My playername is Yoso.

Alright, well I started the other thread for returning players in Phoenix, not realizing you guys had been moved to the server. My two friends and I would most likely like to join you guys; I know I would and I'm sure they will too, as we all restarted together, this week.

We reactivated our old characters, but decided to start with new jobs and try to do everything "the old way" sort of. We want to do rank missions, get our AF... maybe even do Dynamis eventually. Definitely get our DM earrings and CoP rings (hear it's pretty easy to get CoP done now with it uncapped). My character is Craine and I've got 71 THF, 41 NIN and I'm working on taking WAR up to 45 now as I've opted to go with PLD as my "start over" job. I'm rank 5.

My friend, Codin in game, is a 62 PLD whose also rank 5 and starting over as a SAM. The other player is more of an acquaintance; a friend of the friend, and has 52 WHM and I'm not sure what else. Obviously, none of us got very far in our previous go round with FFXI, but we were playing back at release when the grind took forever so we logged a good amount of hours and know everything that's "old" about the game pretty well. I had a more accomplished character that had 2x75 and much better gear and such (CoP/ZM complete, AF2 full sets, etc.) but wasn't able to reactivate it.

We're all pretty casual right now, but really looking to take our time and enjoy the game the way we remember it, sort of. We're all really keen to help others and join in pointless group activities just for the fun of it. If you see me online, I'd love to join. Otherwise, just let me know who to look for next time I'm on.

I'll go check out the forums. I would have read through the entire thread for the necessary information but I'm in the middle of a final paper for an online course so I'm only taking quick peaks at "leisure" sites now and then.

Just message one of the sackholders (or me, and I'll get in contact with them) once you're ingame. We have plenty of newer players in the same boat as you.

While we do have the recruitment forum, the best way of getting a pearl is hunting down one of the sackholders in-game.

Hmm think ill try to join you guys. I have an old account on Shiva ill try to reactivate first and transfer but if it doesn't work i might start from ZERO tomorrow and contact one of the sackholders. Was a hume, taru, elvaan now i think of making a mithra. She was always sexy on Red Mage gear.
