Hey peeps from Phoenix! There is a temp LS on the server right now. The person to contact is Destrukt. Once the merge happens, we will create the mega LS!

EDIT: Scratch that, I'm in ;3

Well I am back re-subbed after a five year hiatus. Last time I played was the end of '04 early '05? anyway this sounds like a very fun thing to do.

I am waiting for the server merges to go through and then I will look for you guys on whatever server you are on. I joined Leviathan for the moment just to get the feel for the game again and I feel more lost now than ever lol.

I definetely am going to 75 the old school way, campsites. Abyssea doesnt seem like any fun to me (as far as levelling goes).

I'm still not sure as to the server name you guys will be on as I didnt see it as an option when I made my character tonight so if you could let me know thanks!

Hey all! Just like the post above me, I have come back to the game after a 5 year break. I currently have a new toon that I made on Asura, but Titan was my home when I played before. Many of my friends have left the game and the few that I have left are so far ahead of me that I hate to bother them to come back and do all the old content all over again for little old me.

I intend on deleting the toon on Asura at this point and starting a new one on Phoenix after the merge and would love to join an LS with others doing the same! I will definitely be looking you guys up once the merge is finished tomorrow!

Just decided to re-join after a 2 year hiatus, but was worried people would only be down for Abyssea.

After reading this thread i'll be headed to Phoenix for sure and look you guys up!

I'd be stoked for a Fenrir chapter of this LS to start up! I'd love to play the game like this, but I don't think I'd transfer to make it happen... My loss, definitely. Maybe in the future I will!

Hello, are you guys still looking to gather new members?

With the release of the new abyssea collection that came out, I am looking to start fresh over again with a good core of members. Not a new player just a new character since I gave my account away years ago right before WotG came out =/.

I too am looking to return to FFXI. The thing that is holding me back are things like the subjob quest, Kazham keys, and Rank 5 for airship ect. To think I'd still be playing if my account wasn't hacked back in 2009. :(

^ Hello peeps who posted above.

We do not stop taking people (not even sure if we have rejected/kicked people yet. Every one seems to get along pretty well). We however (last time I checked/was informed) have decided to stay with the What Was a Temp LS as our main LS (called stomping grounds). The website listed above is still the LS's site, so more info can always be found there (like who is a Sack holder. Off the top of my head: Pardus, Kyrria, Kasaan - yea there are more but every time I log in, more new peeps XD).

There always seems to be people online, but I'm pretty sure most of the players are NA. So if you are UK/JP/Other side of the world, there may not be as many on when you are on.

Bummer on the hacking, no worries on the rest. SJ items you still usually get via parties, but there is usually someone free who may be able to help get them. Same goes for Keys and Rank missions.

We have people at all stages (or we did the other day when I was on) of game play (No SJs, Not rank 5+, etc.)

Hey guys! I gotta admit, I was pretty stoked to read about this linkshell.. I had always vented to my fellow veteran players how cool it would be to have a linkshell that goes back to the roots of what made Final Fantasy XI great after attempting to come back multiple times but unable to find that old FFXI spark..

I've been contemplating really coming back to Vana'diel after a good 3 years(played from 2004-2007) or so of leaving. The current and upcoming updates along with this linkshell have sealed the deal for me. I'm coming back.. and maybe bringing my girlfriend along this time for the adventure.

So expect two new members :)

I'll see to hitting you guys up on Friday when we get our Abyssea bundles!

I would like to do this if there were an LS like this on Leviathan. How is the Titan server? Maybe I should just move...

Hey, just wanted to update anyone who was joining us or planning to.

We are still accepting members, and will pretty much always be doing so unless it just gets too difficult to handle.

we have recreated the original "Reformation" shell on Phoenix, post merge.. so look for myself - Azmyth, Destrukt, Kyrria, Tanon, Edeus in game. There are several others who have sacks as well.

or come post on our forums..

www.reformationls.tk

we just ran a LS garrison last night, and it was amazingly fun.

Hi,
I'm relatively new to FFXI (subbed a couple of times in the past but never got very far). Now I'm back and really getting into it this time and reach lvl 14 up to now. So I'm keen to join a friendly LS. I've been shouting all over Windhurst for Reformation members to help me sign up, but no luck yet.
I'm from the UK and online most evenings.
Game name is Zammu.
Can you get back to me please?
Thanks a lot :-)

Will do..

Just an update for anyone thinking about joining up.
We are still taking members, and always will be most likely.
Some of us got together for a Garrison run Wednesday night, and just last night we had
several XP parties formed, key hunting, and some missions going on.

Check out more info at www.reformationls.tk or look for me.. ingame name is Azmyth, Destrukt, Kyrria, Edeus, Budgie, Arkanios, Kelili in game for a pearl.

This is exactly what I'm looking for. I quit shortly after WotG because of SE's ridiculous payment bullcrap. I asked in a thread about how the game was these days and to be perfectly honest, it seems like a giant gear grind-fest.

The only thing I ever fully completed was CoP, probably my happiest moment in my nearly 2 decades of gaming. That being said, I NEVER finished anything else except A Moogle Kupo de'tat when I came back briefly a couple years ago.

I don't want to level to 90 and just have a giant gear grind. If I wanted that, I'd just reactivate my WoW account. I want to finish the stories, the expansions, the nation missions. This LS seems to be the perfect one to do that with. I want to play the game, to PLAY the game, not grind for the best gear.

Of course, this means I'll have to transfer to Titan or Phoenix, whichever is the final home. (Was on Alexander, which got merged with Shiva I hear.)

Can anyone in the shell give me an idea of how active it is? How often runs are done?

Oh and btw my main is/was WHM with BLU not far behind and THF not far behind that.

No worries on not taking more members. I'm not even joking when I say there seems to be new people every day.
I've sadly given up trying to remember names Smiley: lol just so many. I've never been in a LS (out side of an End game one, and even it wasn't this big) with this many people.

What kind of runs?

EXP Parties? - All the time it seems.

Garrison/Eco Warrior/Old, old stuff? - Well they did do a Garrison the other night (I didn't go, was to late for me). Seems to have went well, and all that were there had fun.

Missions? - We try to help each other as we can. I'm not 100% but I think we only have maybe 1 or 2 members (maybe a few more) that have all the xpack missions done.

Most stuff is planned out, or is tried to be planned out.
We range from people who just started over to 90s doing stuff in Abyssal. Everyone doesn't just stop what they are doing to help, but if planned out the chances go way up (I try to help, but I need set time/days Smiley: lol).

@Smoked: There are quite a few sacks floating around. Me (Kyrria), Azmyth, Destrukt, Edeus, Budgie, Arkanios, and Kelili are the names I can pull off the top of my head.

@Marafice: Like Sand said, it is pretty easy to get help/progression as long as you are willing to say "Hey anyone wanna do ___." I know in the time I've been back (a week before the earthquake) I have gone 75-90 on my MNK, Sand and I completed Rank 10 Windurst, completed Zilart (picking an earring is hard), got Sea access with plans to knock out the final bit of CoP soon, started Nyzul for mythic weaponskill, and become reasonably proficient with Abyssea. These were all LS, or heavily LS, events that were organized either through "Hey, anyone wanna kill Tenzen?" or scheduled through our forums. Honestly what I have found is the only limit to how much you can accomplish mission wise is how willing you are to ask for help.

I have no idea how many members we have now.. but its at least 100 or more. In game during primetime there's always 30 or 40 people on.

Everyone is running all sorts of stuff. I partied last night in qufim for example.
