Well isn't .DAT Special? (3/22 Mining Results)Follow

#177REDACTED, Posted: Mar 22 2010 at 5:41 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) those multi hit augments, if you think you can augment your favourite weapon with that, come on, really , after 8 years playing this game you really think they going to allow you to do that?

Well, if I'm not mistaken, it was also mentioned that they were adding more fish that you could possible split open in the "Inside the Belly" quest. I'm guessing that will make for more charts, which in turn would boost the number of Merc. Kris/Merc. Swords, so we might see a drop in those.

Nope. They pretty much fly off the AH when they are available as is. Unless they start dropping like rain the prices will stay right around where they're at right now.

Could potentially overtake Blau if it augments nicely or whatever the story is.
Unless it can have the multi-hits evoliths/augments, that thing can't touch blau.

You won't hear me complain about 1m M.Kris, lol. Though true, even if the charts are more readily available, I don't think they will necessarily FLOOD the auction house. I don't think they even stated what fish they were adding to the quest, did they? I was operating under the assumption that it would be something lower level for the people just at quest entry level to fish up, but it may actually be some higher level stuff.

seems they put ranks higher than 100

I read this somewhere about the update, is this confirmed? I don't see it in the OP at all. Will we see an update for crafting at all?

Going to take a guess... maybe gives you a bunch of basic temporary items when used. Stuff like an antidote, sneak oil, prism powder, potion, etc...

I'm guessing its even more basic than you are all thinking. My guess is it gives you access to your moghouse storage, which normally isn't accessible anywhere but your own nation's moghouse.

It would suck if you threw your moghouse....

So ya, I haven't seen anyone mention anything regarding this DaT found on BG by Gwynplaine. I will list it below for discussion:

You are now recognized as ≺Multiple Choice (Parameter 4)≻[an amateur/a recruit/an initiate/a novice/an apprentice/a journeyman/a craftsman/an artisan/an adept/a veteran/an expert/an authority/a luminary/a master/a grandmaster/a legend] of the ≺Multiple Choice (Parameter 6)≻[Fishermen's/Carpenters'/Blacksmiths'/Goldsmiths'/Weavers'/Tanners'/Boneworkers'/Alchemists'/Culinarians'] Guild.≺Possible Special Code: 00≻

Tummie, between your .DAT mining results and the Update Notes I can't stop feeling I need to log on to check it all out. For some reason I get the feeling someone is already logged on and obtaining all the awesome gear now available, spawning all the new Voidwalkers, and killing the ShadowLord but we can't join on in the fun.

Yeah, my mind is playing tricks with me.

perfectly normal. just because other people aren't paranoid doesn't mean the world isn't out to get them too!

People are saying it's been that way since before the update. I will check all the guild area .DAT's to see when the file was last modified.

Those ranks have always existed. Same with the additional Main Nation rank levels. There are even animations for achieving the ranks.

I like how you pointed that out. I have been reading up on occult symbolism over the last few months and I know they put stuff like this in games to. I was in the Castle Vahl and noticed the "Evil Eye"(probably in reference to the all seeing eye). When I first played the game I didn't notice these things but after learning about occult symbolism it has made me see EVERYTHING in a different way.

You're hardly alone on that front. Most jobs got boned on that one. Why the would condense all jobs onto three weapons when there are many more WS they could have let people use, I have no idea.
