There are 6 of these VNMs, too, so having them each drop a type of ring makes sense. I bet they're all kinds of horrible in either their strength or their drop rate.
So... the new giant HNM crab is called... "Krabkatoa"?
I was hoping for "Giant Enemy Crab".
"Krabkatoa" is much better than my guess of "Kyng Krab".
On another note:
As hard as I'm hoping Allied Ring will be purchasable once a week for 10,000-20,000 A.N. with max rank, I know the awful truth. It'll be a Shadowlord[s] drop...

WHY ISN'T ANYBODY TALKING ABOUT THIS!?
Because it isn't interesting?
Seriously. It looks unbelievably ominous (in a good way). It looks like some sort of extra 'anywhere' storage that you use from your ammo slot.
"Anywhere" except when you're doing something, since it'd require you to not only equip it, but then wait for the delay (if there is one?), and use it.
Or something like that. Which makes it sound like it would become useless after a while and have some insane re-use time (but at least fast use after equipping)

Tummie, between your .DAT mining results and the Update Notes I can't stop feeling I need to log on to check it all out. For some reason I get the feeling someone is already logged on and obtaining all the awesome gear now available, spawning all the new Voidwalkers, and killing the ShadowLord but we can't join on in the fun.

Going to take a guess... maybe gives you a bunch of basic temporary items when used. Stuff like an antidote, sneak oil, prism powder, potion, etc...
I'm guessing its even more basic than you are all thinking. My guess is it gives you access to your moghouse storage, which normally isn't accessible anywhere but your own nation's moghouse.

I'm going to guess it distributes a level 1 Bell weapon into your bags so you can use the /bell command anytime you want to!!

Except there are SEVEN rings?
=)
Haha...VIT doesn't count...
Ignore the fail on my part. Speculation never was my strong suit.
Any other information about the Campaign Weapson skills? ( like can you break the weapon to use the weapon skill or can it only be used in campaign?)
Sorry, bud. Looks like you're out of luck on using them outside campaign for the moment. There is no indication that we can use them anywhere else right now. Possibly in the future, but no one here can know that.
Anyway, thanks again Tummie, for all the additions.
The occasionally attacks twice/ 2-3 times/ 2-4 times thing on the augment/evolith list is interesting me a great deal. Like lolgaxe said, I was thinking maybe the magian system might pull from the same spread of enhancements, so maybe it will be obtainable there. In any case, I just really hope there's SOME way to make a multi-hit weapon for blu finally... it's been so left out when it comes to multi-hits. XD
I'd love the shot at a sword that can double attack, or triple.... or quadruple. >:P
Am I missing something in the Shadowlord gear? The body/head both look like sidegrades to the current HNM gear except for PLD and maybe SAM or DRG. The only thing I'm not sure about is the G.Sword since I've never taken DRK to 75.
No, that's about right actually. People messing their pants over an Adaberk that trades 3 ACC and 15 ATT for a whopping 1% TA are just being silly. Honestly, the best thing about it is the "Occasionally absorbs magic damage". It could be a fantastic tanking piece depending on the what they mean by occasionally. Pretty much the same goes for the helm, it's got nice stats, but it's nothing you can't get elsewhere except for the "Occasionally absorbs physical damage".
The GS is nice enough, but nobody really uses GS for much. If the Regain effect is potent enough it might be an interesting toy, but Scythe will probably still end up being better in almost any situation. 444 Delay means 11.3 TP per hit, which means 9 swings to 100. For the sake of argument, let's assume 50% delay reduction between gear and buffs. That's 33.3 seconds to 100 or 3.7 seconds between swings. For the Regain to be useful, it will need to supply at least 12 TP over the course of those 33.3 seconds to shave off a single swing. If one tick is every three seconds, that means the sword will need to give at least 2 TP per tick to worthwhile. All of that is of course assuming 100% ACC which is impossible, and 50% Delay Reduction, which you can't get without a Haste spell/song/enchantment. Realistically, it will need at least 3 TP per tick to be really useful.
But hey, let's all point and fawn over the shiny without actually thinking about it all.
I bet this gets rated down. The truth is usually not very welcome around here.
