In things like Campaign it's a different matter, since the mobs there have low enough evasion that your accuracy at 75 is going to be at or very near the capped mark. But in merit party situations or endgame situations, there's no reason a Sam should use a Korazin over a Hauby.
If I'm not mistaken I think some of the boys at BG and our very own shintasama have been preaching the good word of zanshin and how much below acc cap you can go as a Sam or /sam and still actually remain capped because of the jorb trait. Buy I just work here... you would have to consulte someone not hung over and posting from the crapper at work hiding from his boss'
no, rose strap negated all that sh*t. zanshin influences the value of accuracy, but not enough to make wearing askar ever make sense unless you're doing something wrong somewhere else.
re: topic of this thread, yeah, sh*t sucks. it used to be worse, but then again it was also sort of better, because i was the inexplicable parsinator before it dawned on people that rare sh*t with inferior stats coupled with eating improper food equals doing less damage. where would forum bullies be without snowflakes to set right?
What he said, Zanshin changes the value of acc via the #hits at cap, not the actual acc "cap". Askar
might be worth it on low evasion merit (no mamool) level mobs (and below of course), not using polearm (aka: no colibri), with excellent other gear (think: usu+ace's), using pizza, in a specific niche, facing west, under the third full moon of the year, when Sagittarius is rising and Neptune is eclipsed.
Askar SAM @ sky etc need to get shot and buried out back though.
