I'm so sick of people using equipment that is harder to obtain yet inferior to others.

I'm looking at you Shura Togi SAMs. Cut that sh*t out and use a @#%^ing Haubergeon! Why can't you people seem to grasp that if MNK could use Haubergeon that Abjuration would drop, unlotted, every single time.

Oh and non-DRGs who TP in Askar Korazin even though they're nowhere near the Acc cap.

Seriously, stop sucking on purpose. It's @#%^ing annoying.

ITT: People who do not realise that a Hauby, whilst easy to obtain is one of the best body armours in the game.

Well... that might be a valid argument, were it not that most of the tanks suck at keeping hate most of the time. I have both a Hauby and a Shura Togi, but when the mob starts looking my way half of the time each fight, I'm happy to switch to Togi, deal a little less damage and take advantage of that extra +20 EVA. Tank happy, healer happy and me happy.

The thing is that evasion really shouldn't matter much, if at all, in an exp party. Especially not 55+ anyway when kills really speed up. Even NIN is better off full timing Hauby.

I full time Soboro and AF2 body on my SAM.

Seriously. It's not geared, all I have is rare/ex gear.

And people STILL make me come to events on it, rather than on my pimped out THF or WHM.

If you're going to use that argument, why not get a Scorpion Harness and enjoy +30 Eva and more HP than using the more expensive item?

Not really. Haubergeon has more Acc on it. Acc is more important for Asuran than Att is.

I think you would be surprised to see that your evasion rate doesn't change from 5% when switching from hauby to togi on an exp mob. Maybe in a full evasion build you could start squeezing out 10-15% evasion rate, but that's talking SH, evasion torque, boxer's mantle, AF feet, etc. etc.. Now the question is, is it worth killing your damage to have a 10% higher chance to evade an attack?

Spoiler alert, SAMs have this cool new ability called Seigan.
