Many thanks as always Tummie.

Some of this gear is looking really sweet...glad I didn't make a pet Haste hat from the MKE reward, now I can just concentrate on grabbing that new beret.

This bodes well.

[EDIT] Er actually, disable any Windower plugins for now. Probably the cause.

Installing updates is now a bannable offense.

See you in game!

Junk for DRG, wyverns don't commit nearly the DoT necessary to make good use of the pet: haste. Great for PUP/SMN/BST though.

Yeah, I guess so. I just got a bit over-excited over seeing some potential gear overlap with the jobs I like.

Yep, it's windower. Vanilla FFXI runs with no issues.

Oh well, no instant screenshots for me. Smiley: rolleyes

(I have a feeling if it's truly broken, my salvage will be cancelled tonight, as those guys are addicted to Spellcast.)

It's recast that's causing the problems (and recast has been working terribly for me for over a month now).

I hope the smocks are going to be an exchange item to replace the aprons since I just got my apron last week and 100k GP isn't exactly cheap.

This is a GK and not some cruel joke right? (actually, unless you can put some wicked latent on it it's a pretty cruel joke anyways -.-)

Fairly sure this is new... didn't notice it in Tummie's post.

Trainee Sword
[Sword] Dmg:1 Delay:240
Latent Effect: Alchemy Skill +1
Lv 1 All Jobs

From the Quest "Full Mental Alchemist" from Titus in the Alchemy guild. Fairly simple quest to the river in Grauberg and back.

I would be pissed as hell if this kind of thing happened to me.

If you need spellcast to function you truly fail. Make some damn .txt macros if you have to, for crying out loud; that's still a huge boon over the in-game macro system.

This must be during Footwork, mustn't it? Can't imagine any other "latent" that would fit as well to it.

If so it'd still probably just be a macro-in-for-footwork-before-ws piece. Unless of course the "increases kick attacks" is substantial.

I don't think so... Kyoshu is JP for a "defensive posture" or "defending with one's hands," depending on the kanji used... so I'd say it has something to do with Counterstance... maybe dodge?

And to think, it only took SE 7 (yes SEVEN) years to include a back piece in the game for BST with CHR on it....

In any case, no matter what ability activates this one , it´s a damn nice piece to use for Hundred Fists. just use the ability before hand (I always use footwork beforehand anyway since it gives back more TP) and voila, awesome 2hr piece

I thought of it first:

Did you skip some of the evolith suffixes, Tummie? Or did SE not add everything yet?

Prefix
------
Vs. [family]:
[Two-hour ability]:
[Specific Weapon Skill]:
[Element] [Divine/Healing/Enhancing/Elemental/Enfeebling/Dark/Ninjutsu/Song/Blue]:

I think prefixes like "Fire Elemental Magic:" only work for actual elemental magic skill, since "Fire Elemental Elemental Magic:" is missing while all other magic skills are present. (Obvious it's not possible to get invalid combinations, like "Dark Elemental Divine Magic:")

Suffix:
-------
Ability delay -X
Recast delay -X%
TP Bonus +X%
Casting time -X%
Enmity -X
Attack +X

Italics came from SE website. Again, impossible combinations probably won't appear, such as "Axe weapon skills: Casting time -X%" or "Fire Elemental Magic:Attack+5".
