Hell are they a mod team or what?
They have the damn source code, deleting the nyzul npc and replacing him with a new one that gives out separate tags would take me a day to prototype and another one to bug fix it... guess they shifted a lot of ppl over to other projects if they consider a minor coding exercise technically difficult...

sh*tty interview like expected from SE.

Kings and PW are a joke insted of fixing sh*t for the lvl 75 ppl that make up most of the game they are trying to get new players (which wont happen in masses like during NA PS2 release) and are adding low to mid lvl gear that prolly wont be used at all.

The problem is, if there was a boycott, there would be one group that didn't follow the boycott would take advantage of the idle Fafnir/Turtle/Behemoth, thus achieving nothing.

They said in a year we'll be asking how to use them.

New avatars Dec '09 for SMN!

lol

Actually it is Aug '10, we decided it was too difficult to add 2 new avatars, so we fixed spirits instead. Enjoy.

Oh. Man. This is either a cruel joke or awesome possibilities! Please, SE, put out an official survey to all European players asking if theyd come and get this off the ground! We're starved for gaming events over here, and now the image of games-just-for-children is loosing its grip this is the sort of thing we really need to get it dispelled!

Id go, and Id travel anywhere in Europe to! Man, the thought of being able to wear a Dragoon costume and be recognised instead of "and what are you then?" is making me tingle already!

That really is too bad. It was something mentionned by a lot of players that would help move the game for new players to make gil more quickly and have access to all levels of gears...

Personnaly, I always hated jeuno, and I hate Whitegate even more, so I would've loved a chance to hang in Windy a lot more... *sigh*

Lets see, to efficiently use the auction house system you need a mule in each nation plus 1 for Jeuno-Au-Tav. Would SE really want to reduce the need for $1/mo mules?

There are a lot of inconsistencies between the middle lands and Aht Urgan which irk the hell out of me.

Aht Urgan: "Sure, we'll intertwine our economies through common Auction Houses, we'll even let emissaries from your nations teleport directly into our city... but no Airships. That's not allowed."

I always thought that if any Auction House would be separate, it'd be Aht Urgan's.

At any rate, something could be done about the three nations' Auction Houses, maybe link them between each other... though that would fly against the rivalry they're supposed to have.

No real point in making a big deal about it until March, since we know next to nothing about what RDM (and WHM), will get. Right now, I'm just pleased that the devs have given something close to a definitive date... though it's never too late for them to flake out.

Not that i don't apreciate your asking these questions or anything. I'm just wondering why you keep asking the "level cap" question when we already know they're not going to change it ever, it would break the way the game works!

Why can't you ask something we want to actually have an answer to like "Why don't the graphics run through the graphics card? Can you change this?"

Please, no more level cap questions, ever? Thanks.

I'm hoping that the other avatar is a Carbuncle type which you could keep out and melee with.

As for new jobs, it was actually just said that there won't be any new ones for the immediate upcoming expansions, but that you shouldn't take the fact that there are 20 macro books as being evidence that there will be only 20 jobs (it's just coincidence that it happened to work out that way).

- Two new avatars are under consideration, including one that is very large. One or both may be implemented in the “not so far future.”

No fix to RNG *yet*

As someone else has stated, I think we gotta wait until March-ish for anything definite. Focus on the positives for now: New SMN's (Damn I hope one of them is Madeen. Moogle Avatar, would be cool), skill ups under Level Sync and new merit camps.

As far as Kings go, people like myself won't go near HNM because we like to PLAY the game rather than stand idle for hours. No point in working all week, then logging into FFXI to do 4-5 hours overtime...

And Fanfest in EUROPE. Why would we wanna make it easier for American's to get here? They hold their's on the WEST COAST to deliberately get away from us XD

I would level SMN if they added Doom Train. The conversation in my house always goes like this

"Why would you want to summon a train?"
"...Why the hell wouldn't I want to summon a giant train?"

I would level SMN too...if others got the option to turn off my annoying avatars.

Seriously, why hasn't this been asked:

"Will you allow players who do not want to see others pets clogging up their screen the option to turn off the visibility of such?"

No. Please no. Im all for new avatars and SMN's getting upgraded/balanced.. but how about an Avatar Mandragora size... Not something that takes up 1/2 my screen and becomes a pain to work my cursor around.

Meh.. ok. But can we have at least 1 more tag?

"Considering" it? No. If there is an item in the game, it better have at least 1 function besides being inventory -1. Why waste data/peoples time?

Read: We aren't willing to take such a substantial hit in subscription fees.

I like how you're trying to appear honest, SE, but it only really works when you're being fully honest.

Hint: If you see mobs constantly pop purple to the same people time after time again, THEY ARE PROBABLY CHEATING. If I can see this, there is no reason why a GM shouldn't be able to.
