I always thought this was mentioned earlier http://www.dynamiscalendar.com/calendar.php was good, but as posted only a few servers use it, too bad garuda is not one of them.

Yes, it's a great idea, but unfortunately that's not how things work. It's been years since SE launched dynamis, and there are server based LS schedule out there already. So tell me, is everything working out fine? Always stick to the schedule and never try to steal other's location?
Yes. At least, in Asura that's how it works. In the last 2 years or so of Dynamis, we've only had our zone stolen once and it was rather recently from a new group that just started and didn't know about the calendar. I assure you they know about it now.
Does a voluntary server dynamis calendar prevent conflicts from occurring? No. Does it reduce them to almost zero? YES. Tried and proven. Argue logic all you want but the one thing that trumps logic is actual results. I never thought they'd work either but they do, they work great. As it turns out, FFXI draws on a more mature crowd than most MMO's.

Having a Dynamis list/calendar is a wishful thing. It was done on our server. It worked for a short time. Then Several New shells refused to use it and actually used it as a way to Ninja others planned runs, They would enter 30 min before us or Just run up and take zones right infront of a whole gathered shell about to enter. So far until SE makes people stick to a schedule it will be nothing but fighing and hard feelings.
We had a LS ninja our Xarc. I kicked up a HUGE fuss over on the Seraph forums and made such a stink that the LS more or less imploded shortly after that. Schedules work if everyone enforces them.
I totally agree with catwho. If enough people play by the rules, it will force others who are more richardish to play by the rules as well. I tend to think that the more experienced and successful players tend to work well with others, so they use tools like this.
As I mentioned in another thread, we may see a surge in new dyna Shells, but they will weed themselves out, as lowering the cost to 500k doesn't magically mean inexperienced shells will win at Dynamis. Sooner or later, they too will either implode, or be absorbed into the more experienced and successful shells.

In fact they do not.
If the LS's that dont follow the rules have nothing to worry about except people complaining. Nothing will stop them from doing so.
It's more than common to have 2-3 shells fighting over Northland zones on Wed and Sat nights. Then add in the Random Jp shells that Don't care about schedules and take your planned zones right in front of you. Will complaining stop them? Hardly. Will trying to work out a schedule? Only if they are willing to work with you. And that is in some cases a big no from the shells that Take what ever zone they want with 2 chars and have the rest show once zone is had.
Until SE takes Dynamis seriously its just as they told me "First shell that get's the zone has it."
