Just thought I would throw out a warning to people denying they use it (those that do). Taj takes denial very badly, last people that said he was lying got hacked to hell and he posted their paypal reciepts.

Sonic why do you always try and use real world situations that actually would have some impact on a persons life when trying to justify what someone does or thinks about a game? This honestly baffles me.Smiley: oyvey

Because life is a game, to me. And this game is a life, to some.

Besides I was really just being silly because he brought up the Clinton scandal );

Shhh. It will get much better once Taj posts the rest of what he found on that list. You really think that he will stop at just the name of the users?

Whats the excuse going to be after that?

"Uh... yeah after my borrowed account was hacked and turned into a botter, someone hacked my email and apparently knows where I live and my financial information. Did I mention my neighbor plays FFXI and that someone named Ed McMahon keeps telling me I won $10,000,000 but refuses to pay me."

If anyone's curious, the BG thread on this

I just don't get the point really. I mean if these are really botters this is a good list, but does he think he's showing moral superiority? Cuz it was just a few weeks ago he hacked and stole chars to pad his HNMls basically, yeah he supposedly returned most of the gear, but ppl are still stuck in a place they don't want to be for 3 mos., not to mention the fees for world transfers.

Except for the relics and non repeatable Rare/Ex items he dropped before returning them.

I read all three threads on the subeject, he didn't drop any relics or ex items(although there was some sellable gear missing from the two people who ended up on hades).

You are correct, Taj probably has more info then he posted, he usually does. This will probably get posted once he sees people he dislikes deny it. Then he will release it to take them down a peg.

You guys are just a bunch of meany vultures judging someone you don't know! Shame on you all!

Only by the quality of the posts...

Doesn't say anything at all about the kind of person he is. It is, however, more annoying to me to read illogical thought processes than it is to read someone with a god-complex. I'd much rather read an arrogant **** with at least a shred of argumentative (not rhetorical) insight than read some randomly assembled lines of rhetoric that are being masqueraded as an argument.

Furthermore, you aren't very good at analogy. There is a difference between
  • If X argument is portrayed in a poor rhetorical fashion, then it is incorrect
  • and
  • If X argument is portrayed in a poor logical fashion, then it is incorrect

  • The form is identical, but the former is possibly false, and the latter is true.

    That must make me the kind of person that should be on that list!

    It only makes you the kind of person who should shut the @#%^ up; it says nothing about you at all in terms of ethics. This stands whether Happernack is guilty or not; hell, he may very well be guilty, but you still need to stop talking.

    I am always amazed at the human capacity to imitate the vulture, and this thread is a shining example of it. If anything this advances my misanthropy to unthinkable levels.

    One of the finest quotes in the thread, most certainly. :D

    By this point, I have learned never to underestimate humanity's capacity for stupidity, or the ignorance of mob mentality.
    While on a smaller scale here, it's the same kind of garbage that started the Witch Trials long ago, or even refused the idea that the earth wasn't the center of the universe. :P

    Burn 'em all and sort it out later, I guess.

    Realistically, if someone was on that list claiming they cheat, it wouldn't matter how good their argument to the contrary was, would it? There will always be people posting with this simple logic train:
    "You = list"
    "List = cheat"
    "You = cheat...!!!!"

    It may be all cheaters on the list, it may be half true, it may even be true for all but one single person. Unfortunately, no one has that information right now, so it's easiest to lump everyone together, close your eyes and ears, and open your mouth, I suppose.
    It's really sad that no one, not one single person, has a defense against that.... no matter what they say. The list did the judging for many people here, and that's all the evidence they will ever need. :/
    It's not new behavior, but it sure is saddening... it gets frustrating to see it time and time again.

    Even if the list turned out to be 100% true, it's still disappointing behavior. :/ Shame that it won't change.

    I copied and pasted this into Office to see just how long this list is.

    At the current font it gives just copied and pasted it's 27 pages long.

    Thats a lot of names.

    Ouch I just found two names I know one under Hades the other in Unknown but one I can comfirm to be from Hades as well.

    I have a sneaking suspicion that you'll be nominated.

    And whatever Pikko says about me being the nominator is a LIE.

    I haven't seen any behavior even remotely similar to a vulture. Vultures swoop down in packs on injured prey and peck at the flesh until they die.

    No, we're really more like a pack of hyenas really. We're busy laughing our asses off rather than attacking him. Yep, all of his injuries so far look self-inflicted to me...

    Gotta love all the responses from people on the list though, trying to defend and justify all the botting. Just as funny as Hapernack's pitiful display so far.

    Taj works with the Windower crew, right?

    Now I know with FFXI Apps you have to sign in with your account information, but I wonder if Windower will ever have the same result.

    ...That'd be one hella long list.

    The best part is Square-Enix is aware of this. Now they know what a stinking pile of shit their endgame is, first hand, by having it shoved right in their face.
