Trick Staff II, but no Horror Head II ... glitch?Follow

After hours of doing the event in all three nations, I have practically every event item except for the Horror Head II. I received a Pumpkinhead II and wore only that, just as many posts have suggested, but instead of getting the Horror Head II, I keep getting offered the Trick Staff II over and over again (even though I can't accept it). No matter what I've tried or where I've tried it, I just can't seem to get the Horror Head II. Is it just me, or is this some kind of glitch?

FYI: No event items are stored with the event item NPC. All event items have been in my inventory.

I was wearing the pumpkin head 2, and trick staff 2 when I got my horror head 2. Don't know if that helps... but it took me a ton of trades to finally get it. That was my last item too.

It seems utterly random. Two seperate NPCs tried to give me a Trick Staff II, even though I already had it equipped. At one point, I got the Pumpkin Head II and the Treat Staff II withint two minutes of each other. I think hoping for a pattern in this event is futile.

Horror II was my first HQ item. >.>

i equipped my Pumpkin Head II and Trick Staff II. after endless trading, i decided to wait to 0:00 since it was really close and i only had 16 cookies left. i was the only person at the NPC and at 0:00 traded.

My first item of the event was the Trick Staff II. It's got to be random.

I've gone through a few stacks of different types of sweets in Bastok and gotten absolutly nothing, with the exception of being turned into a yag. I think I've hit every NPC there and all I get is a Yag costume or thank you..., I've given up on getting anything.
