Well...now I am glad I don't have a mule! <(^.-)>

Seriously though, SE should do something for us...

I would be happy if they decided to release a bunch of info on the new expansion, that would at least get the player's minds off of the current down time.

A list of all the new jobs anyone? {yes please}

Oh well, I guess all we will get is the canned apologies. :(

I hate to grumble.. But ****. Recently I haven't been able to get on due to school and stuff. So fnally, today I get to come on. Booted me once. Came back on. Briefly log to check something, then can't get back on again.. I know it's not thier fault but it's aggrivating when it's the one day you've been able to get on >_<;

A half assed copied and pasted info post, late at that, is far from appeasing me at this point. A well thought informational post detailing possible or suspected issues causing these **** ups and a possible estimated time for the servers to be up would be EXTREMELY helpful at this point. ><

It's amusing how the JP players had no issues during their peak times. Just like the only issues they had when the servers went live in NA were the incoming players. Unlike our issues which include, but are certainly not limited to over-camped NMs by vet JP players and ********** racists "JPPTONRY OKIES".

In any case I seriously hope they plan on fixing these issues soon if they plan on keeping alot of their NA customers.

Of course it will. Their retarded technicians who obviously didn't fix a damn thing with the emergency maintenance last night, prequeled by the backbone replacement, all points to a shotgun method of trying to figure out what the hell is going on by people who have no clue. So, some half-wit at SE will have an idea to replace all the routers or some other piece of equipment to fix the problem, which means that FFXI will have yet AGAIN emergency maintenance.

The head dipsh!t there will ask one of the more savvy (stretching the usage of the word here) network technicians how long it will take, he will say 3 hours. The message will flash in game for those lucky enough to be in it, and the website will be updated with "blah blah blah emergency maintenance will start at 15:00 and will last approximately 3 hours."

Then they'll fumble the ball as usual, and after around 20 minutes has elapsed past the time the maintenance should have been concluded, instead another update to the site will say something along the lines of "blah blah blah maintenance extension for another 2 hours. We apologize for the inconvenience."

Anyone wanna place some bets?

POL-0206. I've been getting it repeatedly. Yet my boyfriend came home from work for lunch and was able to log right on :P

Then when he logged off it said something about server problems and booted him.

I understand that there is a lot of pressure since things are going wrong, and there is a new expansion and platform release coming out. However, I think at the very least they owe us a better explaination than "We are currently experiencing login difficulties with the PlayOnline and its services." Once or twice, alright something went wrong, no big. But if it's continuous they should give us details as to why this is happening and what is being done about it. I think they owe us that much.

Maybe when I am able to log into the game again I will make a polite suggestion in their feedback form. It couldn't hurt to try.

Accross is day of the month (this month.)
Height is severity of downtime.

This is not a mathematically accurate graph, I just used the value 3 for highish downtime, and 2 for not so bad downtime. I did it very roughly so please don't complain ... it's just interesting to see how often this month it's happened. Notice towards the end it hasn't gone down very much.

Heh heh, the fanboys are steering clear of this thread so far. However, they were quick to use their powers of DIVISION to shoot down that "I wanna refund" thread that recently popped up :P.

To make things worse, they do this when Totally Spies, Drake&Josh, and My Life as a Teenage Robot is on. That's just pouring salt on the wound. XD

Rather sad about it too, I just got in a party to do ZM4 on my other character and just needed to forward some jug pets over. If I had known this **** was going on I would have choked on the gil and bought them off AH. *sigh* too late to cry about it now. >.> Just gotta wait for SE to get their **** together and get the servers back up again. At least they have acknowledged there is a problem, they have not admitted if they know what is causing it or how long it is gonna take to fix it. :P

Yep, this has gotten to the point of ridiculousness. I didn't even bother to log on yesterday because, inevitably, I knew there would be an extension. That said, someone posted the PoL outages for the past few months a few days ago, and it was truly alarming how many problems they've had with the logins/downtime/search&AH. This entire week, starting from last Friday, there hasn't been a day where it's been up 24 hours without some glitch causing 2-3 hours (minimum) of ***** ups.

I'm not usually one to join in the complaining about service, because there's such a myriad of factors involved when it comes to connecting and staying in the game...but it has reached a boiling point. Six months of the same issue. Six months since this whole mess started, and trust me, it's gotten a LOT worse. No one will ever really know if the DDoS attacks really exist, but on the other hand, do you really care? I don't. I don't pay for the service to care how, what and why there are problems, I only expect for them to be repaired in a timely manner.

7/10 posts of people leaving this game lately are because of the connectivity issues. I think that's sad really. They're losing money on a daily basis, both through customer loss and downtime loss (having to pay techs overtime to repair), so it's no wonder the problems are getting worse.

I am getting tired of not being able to log in when and where I choose, and truly, that's what this game is supposed to provide. I give SE a month, because if they don't have this mess worked out before Xbox release, I don't even want to be around for that cluster f***.

For all the people out there who say to quit griping, and suck it up, I believe you'd find you're in the minority these days. I guarantee you if your electrical, water, cable, cellular, etc service did this on a daily or even weekly basis, you would ensure that someone's head rolled. So don't give me the crap that this is any different. 'I'm sorry for the inconvienience', you didn't want those vegetables with your meal did you..we're having issues in the kitchen.

Gimme a break.

To the point where this has become... I woudn't mind them shutting down FF11 for a full week, get all their sh*t TRUELY fixed, give us a week rebate on next month, and move on.

This is getting so ridiculous, me and my static duo partner can't stop laughing at how patetik SE is at having Reccurent problems (fix it --> it's back --> Downtime, rinse repeat with different timeframes).

All I can say is :
{/laugh} SE
{/slap} SE
{/Comfort} SE

I'm kinda relieved that other ppl have the same 0206 error so I know my hardware isn't the problem, but at the same time it looks like I'll be logging in to lots of dead plants :/
