Ditto. Just happeend to me when i tried to log onto another char. screen stayed black and then i reloaded pol and stuck at that bs. pol ******** up again >.>

i guess this is the result of the 10 hour maintenace, and probably going to be fixed in anothe 10 hour maintenace... cant SE do anything right sometimes?

i can't even get that far now, and friend list plus on the PoL web site says it is under maintenance atm... wonder how long it will last THIS time... lol

I feel I should apologize. This seems to happen when I log on, so clearly I must be causing these problems, not SE ^_^
But really, while I'm glad for them trying to fix this game up often, this time they really need to get their act together. This is getting ridiculous :P

same...good thing that server backbone replacement did the trick... day of maintenance well worth it...at least the error didnt come right when people would be getting home for the weekend to play...good job SE

wtf, i zoned, lagged out. went to log back on, same problem as you all, now i cant even get into POL..
Same problem here. You know, I don't mean to jump into the whiney stage that we so often find people in, but I haven't been able to do anything on this game for the last 3 days due to server problems. Has anybody heard anything about SE trying to make it up to us?? WoW gave everybody experience points when they had extended server problems... *^.^*

I love how they state in their FFXI error msges that we should make sure our cable, network devices and network settings are properly configured...too bad this "suggestion" doesn't apply to them -- double standards!

They could make it up to me with lots of bribing. I could use a little extra gil to get some of the higher up level 40ish gear for my BST ^_^

Stuck on POL here as well and preparing for another 10 hour maintenance.
I demand to know what the f*ck is going on. I have absolutely nothing else to do with my time and I can't log in. This is wholly unacceptable.
Ok... been playing 2 years and I'm used to maintenance. I'm used to extended maintenance. I'm used to several relatively large maintenances in a very short period of time, but this... this is getting just a bit upsetting. I'm not gonna ***** about SE. I'm not even going to ***** more than my one tiny gripe. I don't want a refund. I don't (realisitcaly) want an exp bonus or some gil. I just want the server to be up so I can play. I'm not even saying I want SE to do a better job so I can play, I'm just saying that I pay my fee and I want to play my game. I wish there was something they could do to definitly solve their problem, or some way we could even pitch in in maintaining server stability. I just want my game.
well its a just wait and see i hope they will do something for those of us that have weathered this problem.
