Get someone else who can do the job to maintain your servers.

You've failed your customers and it's obviously too much to handle. You've dissapointed the players, and embarrassed yourself as a company.

I'm not dissapointed, and I'm a player. I don't feel like they've failed me, and I'm a customer.

Get of your goddamn high-horse and shut the **** up. You don't speak for everyone. Don't act like you do.

Hmm...how would you feel if they just stopped doing anything? You would be out of a great game and no longer have anything to whine about when it goes wrong.
Now wouldn't that suck?

C'mon, lighten up.

A person with a rating of Sage gets all huffy over connection issues? And yet, the scholars seem to be taking it with a grain of salt...

I am, I'm still giving Square my money.

It's cool, everyone can be on Square's balls all they want. One day they're realize how second rate they are to them too.

Here's a novel idea, if you think the company is so bad STOP GIVING THEM MONEY.

I am sure that thinking is far beyond your acne ridden, teenage angst mind however.

There's these games, maybe you've heard of them. They're called Final Fantasy? Yeah.

Where'd they come from? The sky?

You speak so highly of yourself ^^ Anyhow, I'll agree with most others. The downtime is frustrating at times, yes... but it's not the end-all, be-all of Final Fantasy. The only thing that seems to be aggravating you is the fact that the downtime comes in large clumps.

Actually, yes they did if you did not notice when you payed for the game.
And the 2 Expansions.
And the countless updates.
All for your (and ultimately theirs of course) benefit and good time.

I dono, a may be one of the few but if maintenance needs to be done it needs to be done.

There will be a new influx of plaers as of 2nd dec this year when XI hits the xbox 360. The sort of maintenance they are doing just now, although inconvenient, is essential for them to take the new players i guess.

As for everyones errors logging in, right now at least thats due to everyone trying to log in, stupidly i logged to a mule and tried to go back accross and go the POL-error mystery tour. But if you have X amount of folk trying to access server z which is only set up to take y amount of folk at once you will always get troubles.

So yes there has been a great deal of maintenance this past week and a bit, more than usual yes. Yes we have seen alot of login troubles.

But I cant speak for the rest of you, however i have found teh upgrades to be beneficial, i used to dc alot and i mean alot esp in jeuno and such, now though i havent dcd since the maint/uprgade and when i have its been my ISP and not SE like normal.

I followed the link to the BBB as posted. Guess what? They are already rated as an F. For those of you who don't know, thats as bad as it gets. Apparantly in the real world a company that charges money for a service and then doesn't fullfil it's obligations that is considered bad. Who would have thought? Truthfully I don't care if the game is ever up or down, I'm not that addicted to the play experience. However it would be nice if they added up the hours in a month that the game is unavailable and credited back a days cost per 24 hours unavailable. It isn't really a matter of money, it's a matter of principle. If one of my customers comes to me and I can't provide them with the service they are in need of you can bet they are compensated to make sure they come back.

Teegotaru, its falling on deaf ears.

None of them have caught on that there's a difference between enjoying a product, and not enjoying the support that you need to use it.
