has anyone noticed what this is " http://www.playonline.com/ff11us/polnews/news5859.shtml "?

It says for today, but an update for 02:00 PDT, soo does that mean once the 10 hour update is done, there is going to be another update following it 4 hours lateR?? soo.

At approximately 2:46 am PDT, I logged into FFXI. At that time there was an update download of 9 files. Those 9 files were to fix the problems addressed in the maintenance notification you linked to.

After the files downloaded I was able to play FFXI uninterrupted until it was time to log off for todays scheduled maintenance. This means that the downtime for this update has already been done.

I am sorry, but if you guys are American you need to know the time differences in our country. Quit asking people to figure it out for you. We only have four of them in the Continental US. I could maybe understand Hawaii and Alaska (or the Territories) but if you live in the 48 contiguous states, please learn this. It is simple math.

You're welcome. It's not our fault you're too retarded to add 1 hour to CST and get EST.

9pm East Coast USA
8pm Central
7pm Mountain
6pm Pacific

--- --- ---

3am France & Germany (portions); useful to know.

--- --- ---

10am Japan; obviously useful to know.

--- --- ---

9am Singapore/Hong Kong; also useful.

--- --- ---

Memorize those key times, and you'll be able to figure out why your Red Mage is always tired at 2pm EST (she's in Hong Kong) :P

Just information; don't shoot.

I've never seen anyone asking about time zone conversions before with regards to updates/maintenance. Today alone I have seen FOUR different posts asking what time maintenance will end in their time zone. Did everyone suddenly forget how to add or subtract? I don't get it ><
