Limbus: Solo Possibility?Follow

I figured out of the 9 possible Limbus routes there must be one I can solo??? (Crazy nin/war here) Sure there's a 50K entry fee but it's not 1 million like Dynamis. All you need to get is 1 coin & the entire expedition will be considered a success!

So any of you find a easy route where mobs don’t link or you just run around & open chests on the first floor? I don’t know much about limbus. Only been there once with 7 people.

Yupz that's the 7 people in my LS who have sea and it should be a few weeks before other members get sea access. A few of them don't really want to go without a full 18 limbus pt. So anyone else consider this solo option?

You probably won't be able to solo the area. Something just tells me that.

Well you don't have to solo the area. All you have to do is kill 2-3 mobs to have a good run.

IT sounds like it coul dwork if you get isolated monsters but even still i would suggest going Duo with some form of mage.

No, I doubt anyone can solo.

Maybe rdm/nin or a nin/whm.

Best to find a group.

It depends on what you mean by 'solo' Limbus.

As a RDM, I soloed first-floor mobs and the first-floor boss the day Limbus came out. I went RDM/NIN and used a sleep/nuke method. Didn't get any coins or items.

If you mean can you complete a run solo? No.

I think you'd be better off going with a group of people. I went with 2 parties last night and we got 5 coins each. That's more than I could have gotten soloing. It would be difficult to get the time extensions without a party.

Kittyn, Almarar runs a group that's meeting afaik on Saturday for a Temenos run, we're 3/4 on wins, the one we lost was because we were looking for a time extension chest on Apollyon SE's last level the day Limbus came out :X

Very possible to run around and open chests solo. Whether you actually get loot is another story ;o

Ok that's interesting. So if all pt members are dead you automatically exit instead of having 3 minutes. I guess this is to insure you can't raise & run around looking for more chests or to make sure you get kicked out so another pt can go right away.

If a 12 person alliance can get 60 beastcoins O_O wow..... than that is a lot better than soloing.

I'm interested in what route you guys took in that LJ link? I may just go nin/thf & flee to chests :-D w/ a train of mobs after me. Marando what route is that in the LJ link?

Priran-Thanks I'll look into it.

No, you get 3 minutes.

The picture in that LJ link just doesn't show that notification. Once your 3 minutes are up, it says 'All members have fallen in battle. Exiting...etc.'

Some have tried to solo Limbus, but it works little better than in Dynamis because your run gets cut short when you don't find time extensions fast enough. The Nin/thf looting idea is a very cool one - fleeing around, reraising, using the extra time to solo a few mobs - but the problem is in a short while I think people will find out the currency exchange rate is a bit similar to Dynamis and it won't be that lucrative unless you're desperate for an easy rare/ex drop.

If I were you I'd team up with another shell up there while waiting for more members to get sea. Limbus is a great experience and can be very rewarding when you practice with a good full alliance. Others need your help, and you'll in turn need theirs at some point, so start exploring as deep as you can. :)
