Alchemy Question :: World of Warcraft

I have a question about HQing things. Take for example this recipe:

Alchemy (52)
Goldsmithing (24)
Yield: 33

* Crystal: Fire
* Firesand x1
* Silver Ingot x1

I know my alchemy skill will have to be significantly higher than 52 to HQ these, but will GS have to higher too? Can I HQ them with a really high alchemy skill and only a 24 GS skill, or do both skills need to be raises in order to HQ? Thanks!

you can HQ at any level, just a higher chance as you go up.

THe answer for that is yes, both skills must be raised in order to HQ. If you are tier 11+,31+ or 51+ on the bullets but have GS at only 24, you will not HQ.
