This isn't a rant about them ******** up the economy and pouring more gil into in and raising prices and such. IMO they blow, because if your not buying gil from them, they hinder you from farming it yourself because they make Parties, and sometimes alliances monopolizing one zone/area.
I just left Zi'tah because there is about 9-10 Gilsellers in an alliance mowing down goobue, everyone.. including the WHM has WAR subbed.. and maybe 2-3 people are THF main or have it subbed. They voke the mob and go look for more.. while the THF or /THF cmoes to finish it off. :/.

I'd ask where can I farm. but then it would more than likely just draw more people to that area, and eventually more gilsellers, again hindering legit people from trying to farm for their keep.

/em ducks from the massive rate downs.

I've farmed in Zitah for quite a while, before i go there i just /sea area zitah and check for known gilsellers. If they are there i just give up and do something else, yep its THAT bad >.<

I rated you up to help counter any rate downs you might get - I feel your pain all too well. I have seen Zi'tah swarmed with 6-9 {gilfinder} and will usually just move on to a new spot. It's not worth my time farming for scraps they leave behind.

__ The trolls have moved in already.

Aye.. ty, but I'm sure it's not just Zi'tah it happens in.. suppose all the farming spots/areas are taken. Then what do you resort to, Usually people stop to farm to get better gear so they can continue leveling. Do they just stop until the gilsellers go away. >_>;

I was camping Poisonhand ( the Jujitsu Gi NM) in Davoi this weekend, and i used this tactic against the gilsellers.

Me and 3 others campers teamed up and effectively shut down the 2 "gilsellers" that camp this particular NM 24/7. We stayed for 8 hours Sunday and got every claim in that time period.

It was great giving them a taste of their own medicine. ^^

Yeah, Zi'Tah's bad for this.

On Pandy it's not so bad, there's only a couple of (known) gilsellers there, but that doesn't mean it's possible to farm. There's almost always 10-15 other people there farming Goobbue.

Hopefully with the new expansion, there will be some new areas that are locked, much like most of CoP was, and have goobues with decent droprates. It won't keep them out for long, but it would give some of us a fighting change for a little while.

This is why every time I camp and NM I fight fire with fire, grab a party of friends yourself and spread out, it increases your chances against the gil sellers.

I dont mind parties of legit players and me being by myself, but if theres groups of gil sellers then I wont bother unless I am in a group.

I do feel your pain, all I can suggest is the above, increase your numbers against them.
