It might be a PlayOnline setting, thinking about it.
For about 12 months I'd see mm/dd/yy in the Auction House's Price History. On reinstallation of my system and with it PlayOnline, I changed the POL date format to dd/mm/yy and - lo-and-behold - it set it as the date format in the Auction House Price History as well.
So we know for a fact that changing the date format in the PlayOnline Viewer's Options menu has an effect in the game. Maybe some of the other POL options do too.
(Though this begs the question - why can't SE use a system where they post a time that gets automatically converted? I get sick to the back teeth of -=SystemMessage=- The server will go down at 1400 PDT/CDT/EST/RMT for maintenance. What's that? You're GMT? Well HAHAHA!! We're not telling YOU when it'll be going down. We don't like you. or the ever-popular PlayOnline Latest News items, that give me details on events etc. for a timezone somewhere between 5 and 50 hours behind me.)
