NPC Promyvion Quest. Question and WarningFollow

Well I wantered down to Promyvion Dem tonight to try and get my tactics pearl for my NPC. I was alone, and didn't bother to get any level 30 gear, because I had read that you shouldn't have to fight for this quest.
Anyway, I wantder in, start the quest, and head out looking for the ???. I finally find it and it is surrounded by wanderers. Being stupid, as I am, I decide to make a break for it and check the ???. Of course I get massive aggro, however I do get some feedback from my NPC that he is satisfied, along with some Red text saying "Event Skipped". Needless to say, I died, did not get a Tactics pearl, and my NPC will now talk about the little girl again when I use the Quest option at the rendevous point.

So just to warn anyone and prevent mistakes like I had, make sure all aggro is cleared before checking the ???.

If anyone knows if this quest will be re-activated, or if there is a way to try again please let me know. When I went back to Promyvion I got nothing when I checked the rendevous point. If I get any new information on this I will post here.
