Mercurial Kris? how do i get my hands a one of these? please post information ^^

Mercurial items, however, are supposedly rewards for the new treasure map quests, which require a very high-level fish. If that's true, don't expect the new Kris to be cheap or even casually available any time soon.

It would be a bit unfair to make it a fishing-only quest. I mean, it would be like a reward for the slew of people who used to fish-bot all the time. Fishing is rewarding enough no?
Acctualy, the fish you fish up is a lv0 fishing, very commonly fished up in Selbina
I used the rod and basic bait from the ship Mhaura>Selbina and fished when I got to selbina, 4 of the fish after eachother,

It may be a lvl 0 fish, but you have to have at least lvl 28 fishing to even get the quest. I am REALLY upset about this because it means the same people could possibly get the kris over and over. Last time I checked, that's called monopolizing an item, which is clearly against the ToS.
Just because you might have to level fishing to 28 to get an item doesn't mean that SE is "omg!11!!one rewarding all the fishbotters wtf wtf"... put some effort into getting it, and you'll be happy with your reward.

That wouldnt be monopolizing an item, monopolizing an item is when one person controls an item entirely and even then it isnt against the ToS. This is basically no different then people with lvl100 crafts.
If the kris is anything like how hard/expensive/time-consuming it can be the get the GSwd (though different quests), then even if you have 100 Fishing, you probably won't bother more than once. If at all.
do we even know that fishing is involved?
The Kris is rare ex its impossible to monopolize it and from what i know the three nms you have to kill are a pain in the ***.
I asked a *** last night because he showed his off in AH by selling it to himself he said <Valkurm Dunes> ><

i found this item in the AH. dude names siz... he is JP. i sent him a /tell hopeing to buy it. he said not for sale.. so i asked where he got it. he said he got in in vaulkrum dunes. notorious monster. and he also said he only had 3 people level 75 with him. idk if it has anything to do with fishing or not ; ; but only 1 has sold on AH and it was self sale and i havent seen anyone else with this item yet.

I've seen it posted that high-end (90+) fish are required to get maps to the good items. That could have been early speculation though -- I've not seen any confirmation of it.
Valkurm dunes treasure map quest involves 3 person (or 4, don't know for sure) lvl20 cap.
No clue if the event gives the kris or not.
There's one at buburimu, I don't know for sure which one is which.

The two new items (Treasure Maps) you get from the 'Inside the Belly' Quest are used to start a mini fishing BCNM. The rewards are Albatross and Penguin Ring.
The one in Bumburimu Peninsula is Solo the on in Valkrum is 3 People. Capped at 20.
If Marcurial Kris is from the one in Valkrum you would have to kill the 3 NM that get spawned and not Fish up the Ring. I am not sure that this would make sense as this is clearly a Fishing event. But who knows.
