I'm not sure if this has been posted or not, but my NPC is 39 attacker, using a Two-handed sword.
Granted, she doesn't get a lot of hate most of the time, so I don't know when she started doing this, but I noticed her using the MNK ability counter. Did NPCs always have this or did it get unlocked at a certain level?

Yes, it was posted before, which started a lot of speculation that there were specific jobs for the npc, rather than the vague 3 categories: attacker, shield and healer.
Dont remember at what level but it was pretty early on.

NPC dinged 49 tonight! Took 39 kills to get on antican hoplomachus, lanista, and secutors, and a few manticores too boot. Didn't check luto/rp though >.< hp was in windy....
Still at 20 kills a session too for those of you that are wondering. Pro III is a new spell he started using last level.

Hit 41 and got my first Cure IV from my NPC she is a Haste casting fool since she turned 40 I love it. Changed her Great Sword to Great Axe now if I can only get her to do Sturmwind vs Iron Tempest still both doing better than Great Sword she seemed to love Freeze Bite >.> which is extremely weak.
I dont know if this has been mentioned or not but i here a lot of people saying they got this blue ribbon on their NPC when they got the appearance option. Well i just got that option today and i got one of those headgears, lice the mercenary headgear thingy.

My NPC just Dinged 40 last night and has just opened the 20 fights and "appearances" option at the RP. He is a Gulka in "Attacker" style and has the second GA. He also hasen't changed armor in the past 5 callings... he is in FULL Centurion Scale (body, legs, gloves and boots) and he now has the headgear with the "appearance" option on.
Also of note, I party with 2 others to lvl NPCs who both have thier NPC in "attacker" style, all 3 NPCs are in full Centurion Scale and none have changed armor since they got the full set (between 3-10 callings across the 3 of us).
My questions are these;
1) Will I ever be able to trade a third GA to my NPC?
2) Is Centurion Scale the best armor he can get?
3) Will the headgear upgrade as my reputation/summonings
increase with my NPC?
These questions may have already been answered... but I didn't see them in this tread. If some one knows the answers to these questions 100% I would apprecite the answers ^^

Can anybody confirm or deny whether or not there is a lv50 cap on the NCP's?
Word I hear is that there is a lvl 50 cap currently on the NPC.

1) I havn't seen/heard of a third set of weapons yet for the NPCs. So, I'm willing to guess he'll still be using the same axe.
2) No, my NPC has had on the full Mythril set (I think that's what it's called). The all black metal looking set (Really cool looking).
3) I havn't seen/heard anything else about different headgear upgrades. I think, the major NPC lvlers are all just waiting for a new update from SE. As for me, I'm still working on getting mine to lvl 50.

How fun will it be if it turns out you have to do Limit Break quests for the NPCs? Haha
Penta you say hmmmm maybe time for me to switch my girl to a polearm lol. I have had her go from Great Katana to Great Sword to Great Axe but if she can learn Penta thats just to sweet to pass up.

Which polearm are you using and how much damage is penta doing??? Mine uses Great axe but think Penta would be cooler ;)

I gave my NPC the second spear upgrade (which I think is the Bronze spear).
Damage on Pentathrust varies greatly on the Antican Secutors though I haven't kept close track. My NPCs acc on these is still a bit shaky. But I think a just under 200dmg mostly.

Still no luck here. Been taking her out for, I don't know... Maybe 5 times after she hit 50. Fighting stuff that she would get good exp from.
So my bet is the cap is 50 for now. :/

It's definitely capped at 50 for now. My NPC was dinging every second outing killing the L54-58 ants in W Altepa. I've had her out 4 times now since she hit 50 and she hasn't dinged again so I've given up for now.
My guess is that SE will add some sort of limit break quest for the NPC in a future update.
